I remember one time when I was attending a British school in Greece, I was in grade 8 and one morning it rained very and I didn't wan to go to school, I lived in the northern suburbs of Athens. The next day I saw my headmaster during break and he asked why I was absent the day before and I told him because of the rain and his response was " come on your not made of sugar" lol.

This is the image that many people (e.g. Americans) probably have that London 🇬🇧 is always like, whereas the whole point is that it's a novel experience. 🌞 Though it's not foggy. It's always foggy in London of course. 🤔
For those who are unable to extrapolate the seriousness of this event, the clouds were as saturated as hurricane clouds. Many tunnels were flooded. And the rain is heavy and it stings when you get hit by it at this latitude because it's formed in near zero celsius conditions. It's weighty. The system, travelling southeast at a very slow speed and centred about 20 km north of this vids locale lasted a lot longer and hit a lot of communities in the city.
During colonial time British empire make many building in my city Lahore on their architecture. Whenever i see them i find so much resemblance with Lahore building and London building that were made by British. Because of this resemblance London is one of my favorites cities which I want to discover in my life. This city fantasize me alot about itself 🥰.
