Rafts! that must have been wild! I was just walking on the pier in elizabeth yesterday, and the water was wild, wind, chop, huge tanks coming through. I hav et find some pictures of rafts out there, that sounds fun.
This was Awesome, i loved the stuck bridge . It reminded me of the Disney movie Oliver & Company , i was waiting for a pack of dogs with a little kitty to come trotting by . Lol I can't wait to see the next Adventure. Positive Vibes & Cooperative Tides 💯🙏❤🇺🇸🌞
Super awesome adventure! Love the pier vibe! I'm coming down before the summer is over, if you're around let's paddle. Listen, I took my first swim and had to self rescue on Wednesday up here in Dorchester Bay. I had to use my paddle float and bilge pump and it took me several attempts and re-dumps back in, but I managed to get back in and, exhausted, slow paddle back with rubber arms. I was limbo-ing back to get under a small pier, realized my hat brim was gonna hit, I leaned right and reached right for my hat with my left hand, and kept going right over. All good, a valuable lesson for sure. Stay safe, my brother!! Those tug boats don't mess around, right? 🤠🛶😜 Allright, it's time to boogie!!
Whoa Kaptain, that sounds wild! Glad you self rescued ok. You got paddle floats! Great idea, I might have to get some. I’m glad you are safe. It happens! Thanks for sharing the story, be safe up there🛶
You got some balls lol. But another great video as usual dude. You should take that kayake out to the Delaware Water Gap one day and make a video. I go out there with at least 1 other person, and 2 cars. Park 1 car downstream and take the other upstream. Get in my inflatable boat and head down stream for about 3 to 5 miles and just chill in the Water Gap for a few hours. Also it was awesome meeting you the other day
Hi! i'm taking your advice and doing a Delaware Water Gap paddle tomorrow, kind of last minute. not sure im going to record it. It was great meeting you, I forget that folks may recognize my wife and I around here. You were super cool, thank you!
Hi Philip, thank you! Here is a video , a favorite, its on the Robinson branch from Scotch plains to the reservoir in clark, you may like it. th-cam.com/video/-B_yQErgs18/w-d-xo.htmlsi=z6fs9TPa3W_tQNSP
Hi, I don;t but i should have told my family, could have been a great Christmas present, but seriously i think i might pick one up. thanks for the suggestion
He was catching " sea robbins", otherwise known as "Birds" on a party boat. They make a barking sound when out of the water ,lol. But is a good sign they are there, means the water is cleaned up somewhat, and there should be fluke right behind them, but in the middle of the channel.they steal your bait when you want the fluke,lol,pita..and they are full of bones so forget trying to eat them things, besides.
If you fish with someone with A LOT of cleaning experience, sea robbins can be cleaned to be less boney and are wonderful with garlic butter. Admittedly though, you only wind up keeping them when the fluke aren't biting.
@@ScarletKnightAGK there's a couple small medallions in there,I think iirc you cut out the cheeks they call it, it's the only little piece without bones.
Thanks for your video , my buddy George & I built rafts to explore that area 60 years ago.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to drive across the Front St Bridge several times just before it closed to traffic.
Oh wow, that is super cool! I would have loved to drive over it, and watch the bascule engineering in action. lucky you!
very great vlog Loving this, stay connected! New got a new member
That did look a bit scary out there with the wakes and all. The end with you talking with people hanging out and fishing was really good
Hey Chris, it’s. Unique place with its own energy , I love it. People are always curious and cool to me on the pier. Thanks for your support 🛶
Ever make it out to Parsippany? Would love to see some video from there. I used to live in Lake Hiawatha.
Hi there , I’ll have to look on google maps and see what’s interesting up that way , thanks for the tip
Your videos are great.I live in Clark and seeing these waterways around here is really beautiful.

Do you carry a VHF radio for trips like this where you could call the coast guard if needed?

Jet ski in the Arthur kill ? I guess it's getting cleaner? No !! No Arthur kill smells fine 😂
Hi Richard , yes there are lots of jetskiers , I see them down near carteret too! I’m not sure I would want to swim in there though

Hi! Thanks for details . I always hope the water is getting cleaner. I notice when people catch those sea robins , they don’t seem happy about it 🤣

Kill is a Dutch word for river. These are some of the 1st areas that Europeans explored.
Hi there , I often wonder what exploring this area a few hundred years ago must have been like . Thanks for the great comment
