There’s a group on Facebook called “YFShee banshee YFZ frame hybrid” look it up, there’s quite a few people have done it and guys sell the mounts as spacers to bolt the motor straight in
I am gonna look into it if they have them available I may just do it. Didnt wanna weld on this frame tbh
@@TimeMachinesATVs I think there is 2 variants, one is a bolt in kit and the other you have to weld a mount in above the swingarm pivot for rear engine mount

If you use MAP gas ( the yellow tank) for that touch it gets a lot hotter than propane faster just a suggestion

I had a 03 trx400ex.. it was a stock bore but it was port and polished with a high compression wisco piston and a slip on lexx exhaust with a air box mod. It would keep up with stock 450s. Plz put an exhaust on that 400ex it’ll wake it up big time.. love you guys keep up the awesomeness 🤘🤙✌️ Blake keep that mullet beautiful 😍😂😂😂

I had my dad make a custom aluminum baffle for my crf that didnt have it it was just a cap and a metal mesh cone it killed that shitty bubblie sound and still a decent thump

Nah u need an acetylene torch most likely to melt the rods. They need like instant meltage lol. Yfshee baby!!!!! Fuck ya man. I want to build one so damn bad after we buy a house. Its my 1st project when we move. If u do, we need to see the geometry aspect. Like how u make motor mounts, where u mount them for the pipes to work good etc. The intake has to be run off to I think the left side if I remember correctly but I think the quadzilla or lt250r intake boot to back of carb works to go around shock tower. Don't quote me lol dude I sooooo fuckin hope u do that build and record all the technical stuff. And you can still sell og the yfz running gear, or drop all that into something else later. But if I was u, I would make that banshee have some ponies. The only few yfshee on TH-cam are stock motors. Do a 4mil, stock cylinder, mild porting, mill the head for piston clearance, and throw like a single 38 or 39mm pwk. Dude that would be mighty damn gnarly and out would have the only full yfshee build on TH-cam,

I keep rewatching this video. Probably one of my favorites. So the issue with the dimming neutral light.. mine is doing the exact same thing so since watching this video I’ve learned a lot. I just picked up a China solenoid so hopefully that fixes my 400ex issue!! I get tired of mine not wanting to start up easy. I have to turn the key back and forth before the light stays lit. Once it runs tho she runs perfect. It never died. Sound like a solenoid issue?

Oil cooled 400ex know this because races buddy on my daughters 92 250 r quad racer.he had brand new 99 400ex well you know who won 2 stroke i I actually threw a rock up put a hole in his oil tank his first weekend out on his brand new Quad then he drove it around and locked it up he didn't realize it blew it up after I blew blew them out of the water with my quad racing 2 Strokes truck 4-stroke suck 😆
