I really need to know. If i do all of this and my TH-cam channel gets deleted and all of my videos get deleted will i still have access to my TH-cam videos that i downloaded on my computer using google takeout or will those be gone as well?

But how after I delete my channel to restore all my youtube data? Please make another video on this because the reason for that is because my youtube channel is corrupted and i need to delete it in order to reset and make my channel normal again in addition to all my data being in it.

It should do all of them. Thats strange. Try again but really double check your settings. Also sometimes it splis the backup into several zip files, maybe theres mire there?

I thought it only backe dup one channel at a time. Not sur eif this will solve your problem but before clickign next on the first page, there's a button "all youtube data included" - you can swtich some stuff off there. But I dont know if you can split it quite how you want it to be split sorry. I hope that helps

Can you do this on phone or only laptop? Can you also save it to an external hardrive? I'm thinking of buying an external hardrive to backup everything like my TH-cam channel Google photos etc so I have them saved for myself
I don't know about phone sorry, but there's no reason you can't save this to an external hard drive. You can plug it in before and save direct or even just save to the computer first and copy over.
I would keep those video s backed up on your computer and just do this every few months, personally. It depends if n how up to date you want this full backup to be, after all, you will need to reupload these all individually if your channel was shut down
Hi Marc, I just downloaded direct, but am now testing on DropBox since I use it for my business and it's less than $15 per month. The only method I've found for restoring your channel is, unfortunately, reuploading and then copy/pasting your info into each video. Slow tedious but better than no channel I guess! I'll reply to this comment when I've confirmed that DropBox works well (to be certain I'm giving you a good recommendation)

Helpful video. What I'm finding is that the VIDEO Metadata csv files are not being included, even if I select for all the youtube data. I usually select for 50GB download sizes, and I get about 15-20 of them. I thought perhaps it was being buried inside one of the folders, but I'm guessing that this CSV metadata should be included with every zip file download?? Thx
It should be, there should beone big file somewhere in the archive from memory. So if its split into multiple files it should be one file somewhere within those files. I coild be wrong, i hope youre able to find it

Yeah but this is still going to download at 720p quality, just as if you went into youtube and downloaded them individually. Or am I wrong?
Thought that too, I tested it and got full 1080p resolution videos

Since they will be mp4 files stored on your computer, you will still have them.

You can, just go top right of the screen to switch your and you'll get brand accounts and associated accounts there

What if it's a channel with lots of videos that are 4k resolution, will it still be 4k resolution or will it download a scaled down version?
I haven't tested 4k, but I get my original 1080p videos. I'd test it out!

If the files aren't to big, you can download themdirectly. However I'd download to your computer then copy over.
