It looks pretty nice I have a mini Q drill and had to mod it a bit to make it more usable, and its small with very little travel but fits into tiny space for storing so that was a plus. So 2 tech questions I have are how tall is the main post from base to top and how wide is the post in mm my mini has a 32mm post for example. What I really like about this drill is the depth stop which works the same as it does on the Bosch and the fact you can set and see how many mm deep you want to go ,so that alone is highly useful for my DIY. Have you tested those features or will you be testing them I would love to know how accurate that actually is in something in this price class. As well as play on the column does it stay in exact alignment with no side slop. I would love to have the Bosch PDP-40 which this is copying part of but unfortunately they never made one for USA 120v power, so this is as close as one can get it seems for those of us not in the UK.
Table to top of post is 25.5inches, 65cm. The handle sticks up higher so you would need about 30inches 76cm vertical clearance to use the full range. The post is about 5.75inch circumference, so about 46mm diameter. With the height adjustment tightened there is zero side to side play. With it loose, there is a fair amount, about 1/8in side to side.
@@pilotdog68 Thanks much any info on the digital depth gauge and its accuracy as It would be fantastic if it was usable and at lest fairly accurate. Will you be doing any type of review and testing on it?
@@vidworxsfx I won't be doing much work with it till the spring warmth comes, but I did just test it with my setup blocks. The digital depth gauge was either dead-on, or within 0.1mm for each depth I tested.
I made a follow-up video about the process needed to adjust the lasers: th-cam.com/video/OPTzJKB18-0/w-d-xo.html

@@pilotdog68 That is great to hear that its that accurate, as that is something I will be using often if I was to buy one of these.
