He still has many symptoms and is in constant pain especially in his legs and feet. He can only eat a few foods since he is allergic. But how bad it was, yes he came out the other side of it. He will likely need treatment off and on for life but he is managing. He is helping many people by being an advocate and involved in the chronic illness/lymes community. More artists need to help humanity instead of bragging about how much money they have.
When he cut a hole in his chest, it was real. If you watch the videos of Missing chapter by chapter you will see what happened. He was so numb to external pain because of the daily struggle he just wanted to feel something. It's a sign of deep depression. Loved your reaction great job KaiReem ❤

Carved a hole in his chest, not cut , sometimes when you live with constant debilitating pain that's out of your control, people have been known to self harm to control the pain and the adrenaline you have by doing that can actually lessen the pain for just a moment. He explains this in more detail in his 8 chapters on his Renmakesstuff channel. I suggest you watch those, but give yourself space and take it in your own pace, it can be difficult to listen to, just hearing what all he went through to get to where he is now. He did this song and the chapters to increase awareness for Lyme disease and the other invisible illnesses that need more research and funding. It's powerful stuff and heart wrenching, but also so very inspiring to know what he's overcome so far to just exist and bring us his music. He's the voice of the voiceless, giving hope to the hopeless.

He deserves it all now and he’s still fighting but in the right type of treatment and care. I’m glad he’s still here giving his music to us 😊
