The big pad on the voltage regulator is actually not ground but Vout (connected to middle pin).

What happens if I apply more than 5V volts to 5V pin. Which components can be damage?

Arduino uno pins re 5v tolerant so nothing will get damaged 👍

@@circuitdesolator Hello Sir my Arduino Uno has an issue with atmel eeprom it becomes hot and reset button not working I do see Arduino Uno in list of usbs when connected to a pc but I can't upload any program to it annd reset button not working what could be wrong here?

why not use pump?
