It bothers me that the two monitors at the sides aren't aligned to the one in the middle. 😕 It sticks out at the top.

Can anyone tell me where these number come from? The $30,000? I added up all the cost and shipping, VERY generously... and only came back with about half of what they're claiming...
This is also the same PC that they claimed was a *$20,000 PC* ... But when spec'd out, only added up to around $8,000 (Including the monitors, keyboard, mouse, etc...) So I made a list, including the same displays, chair, mouse, keyboard, PC, etc... and with shipping & extras I could only add up to around $15,000... Go price the specs of the PC build and you'll find you can build it, everything included for less than $8000. Less than half of what they claim it cost.
Here's my list...
chair - 3800
PC - 9000
displays - 672 + 350 (both smaller displays)
headset - 250
Mouse - 80
Keyboard - 140
wires - 80
PS4 pro - 400
Fridge - 250
Snack Cart - 120
Even adding the snacks and drinks, it only comes up to be around 15k... So what am I missing here?

When I read "The ULTIMATE $30,000 Gaming PC Setup" it draws my attention to the setup. Yes, if you buy an expensive PC or setup under normal circumstances it's meant to play games on. But Lewis is a content creator/product reviewer, from him i'd expect a more in depth look at a setup like this.

I don't get the hate for console gaming, we are all gamers, hell even if you just play on a smartphone, you're still a gamer. Don't get it twisted though, I have an i9 XE 1080ti 64 GB of RAM build ( dual monitor, cherry Mx red keyboard) as well as an Xbox one, PS4 and a Nintendo switch, I live the gaming life and if you feel the need to talk down on someone with a console just remember we can't all afford a $6500 gaming rig, stay humble because at one point I definitely couldn't afford my rig.

the only thing that's annoying me is how the two monitors on the side aren't even with the middle monitor
The makers of the chair say that 17in is the max height of monitor, he's running a 42.5in at 16:9 which is about 20in height so I assume it is not the fault of the chair but an issue caused by them trying to force an out of spec over-sized monitor onto the chair. As long as you run a 34in, 21:9 The screens will line up perfectly.

Obviously no one is going to pay 30 000$ on a gaming setup, but even if I did, if I could, this wouldnt be it.
1- Those displays are ridiculous, underwhelming and impractical. That 4k display is limited to 60hz, which is fine for movies, but not so for fps games. It doesnt come with either g-synch or freesynch. The immersion isnt very good either as it s too wide, if you have to turn your head, that can be a problem. The fact that the side displays dont align well with the center makes multi display gaming awkward.
2- The keyboard looks cool, but it doesn't even have a num pad. The whole point of choosing a pc over a console for gaming is that pc does more stuff. If I invest that much money into a gaming setup, I'd expect it to give me some options for other stuff, such as editing and motion design or 3D animations for instance, in which a num pad greatly improves the workflow. A keyboard without a num pad can be limiting.
3- No surround sound system. You would think with 30 000$ budget, you'd have speakers and not just a headset. Sure headsets are good for online gaming but what about single player? I'm not a huge fan of headsets, they can get hot and uncomfortable, they tend to give me headhaces is the volume isn't just right. A surround sound system would be awesome and at this budget, it should be a standard.
4- That desktop space is unnecessarily too small, with keyboard on it, the ps4 controller barely stands on it a little shove and it falls down beyond reach. Setup is cool, but takes time to let you out, which can be very frustrating it you gotta pick something you dropped.
5- Only one seat. At 30 000$, I'd go for at least a dual setpup, two seats, two display setups, so you can play with a friend. No such option here.Obviously the pc itself is a huge part of that budget, but it's also very overkill, especially if you're just playing fortnight, but even a 3000$ pre-built gaming pc can handle assasin's creed origins in 4k at max settings. For 30 000$, I'd expect the bigger investment would come from furniture and peripherals.
Clearly this setup is aimed at the design and looks, but in the long run, I don't think this cuts it. I'd like to see them do a 30 000$ setup with a more practical approach.
