Leaving the magnetic rubber base on is a good idea in case you want to upgrade to a spring steel PEI plate. An occasional dusting of talcum powder will prevent the glass bed from adhering to the rubber base. Best tip for the glass plate is to KEEP IT CLEAN. Wash with warm water and a squirt of dishwashing soap after every couple of prints. Greasy fingerprints are your worst enemy.

Easier to adjust the z-stop by losening the screws, put the edge of the glass plate between the z-stop and the frame it normally rests on, then retightening the screws. THEN put the glass on the bed.

Real question, why not just place the glass print bed right on top of the old magnetic print bed? Wouldn’t the old print bed act as a buffer between the sticky layer and prevent it from fusing completely ?

You need to take out the magnetic shield, is very easy just heat the bed at 80 degrees and peel it off it comes right out easy. If you
The magnet shield don’t have non benefit if you live in on, your bed never will be flat enough!

Hey, quick question. Does your glass bed have marks from prints? I ensured my nozzle is at the proper height and not scratching the bed, but there's marks from my prints like on the stock bed.

Serious question:
Why did you adjust the placement of the Z-axis stop, instead of lowering the bed on the springs?
Looking at my printer, I have a feeling the answer is self explanatory, however I am curious as to whether or not this has been attempted, and I'm sure there are others asking the same question

My glass bed is sticking to the magnetic build plate every time. Should I peel it off?

It's late but anyone else who's have this problem use non stick baking parchment paper between the bed and glass. Never had my stick to my glass 3 plus yrs now.
