    Are there any easy exercises?

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      What is easy for one person might be hard for another and vise versa. Eventually, with focus and practice, all become easy or at least easier.

    very interesting video! I noticed the way you do the nay nay exercise is a bit different than what other vocal coaches do on youtube,they usually use the pharyngeal resonance and the sound is much more brighter and louder. Yours seems very quiet and its very heady sound,its almost impossible to sing with this kind of sound tbh. Are you doing this intentionally ? if so then could you please tell me the differences between head voice nay nay vs the pharyngeal head voice nay nay? TIA

      @PowerToSing  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Cody: In my earlier videos I did the bratty neys louder and more aggressively. However, I've lightened up because I want to eliminate bratty sounds as soon as they have served their purpose. In my hands, I've found it easier to transition to normal singing with little to no tension by starting out less loud and less compressed. I can't take credit for this change. It's something Seth Riggs taught me. For me, it seems to work faster.

      This is such a great question I'm going to do a live broadcast on it in about 5 hours, 2pm MDT. Let me answer your question. The pharyngeal and lighter head voice neys intend to do the same thing...help connect the tone so there is no interruption in tone between chest and head voice. The lighter one is easier to transition to singing without the pharyngeal element...easier to eliminate tension from the newly connected tone. There are times when I do it more aggressively. That is when the lighter approach will not "connect" the tone then I'll go more aggressive. Thanks Cody.

    • @PowerToSing

      Because you are doing it wrong. When you are in mix, most can't tell. Your voice sounds natural and easy up and down your range. It's effortless and sounds great.

    hey chuck , ihave already follow ur instruction to test my vocal type on ur website , and i got the result pulled chest and high - larynx any good recomendation to fix my voice?

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Sani Joyko I would watch all the videos in the Knowledge Center about Pulled Chest/High Larynx. After watching them all download the free exercises and try to do them exactly as I demonstrated in the videos. This will help you begin to improve. This is my vocal type too. It's not really that anything is broken in our voices. We just didn't know how to do it. These exercises will begin helping you know how to do it. Be patient. The most important thing now is to do the exercises correctly. Positive changes will begin happening. I'm excited for you!

    i wanna ask did there any chance for bass voice type could reach C5 tenor?

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Sani Joyko Yes there is. I am a bass but have tenor notes. I can sing the C5 in vocal exercises, although I've never sung it in a song. I have sung the Bb in a song. It's great fun and it's possible. However, each voice is different. It does depend on how much heft it in the voice. And although you may be able to vocalize on a C5 in the exercises, it doesn't mean it's ideal in a song.

    • @blackwitnessaaa196

      I wanna ask can i?
      My lowest voice ar : G#2
      My highest chest ar G4 (sometimes) .
      My comfort high chest ar F4 imma bass or baritone?
      And what kind of warm up i should do to suistanned G4 please help .
      From indonesian.

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Sani Joyko Sani, it took a while for me because my vocal type is pulled chest-high larynx and that was causing me to tighten up. If you haven't gotten your vocal type, go to my website and take the POwerTest and the quiz. I can give you better answers once I know your vocal type. Also, whether you are bass or tenor is not so much about your range, as it is about the timbre of your voice.

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Victor Delgado (DeadDesertMedia) Hi Victor. If your larynx rises your vocal cords can disconnect into falsetto. This is likely what is happening. You may want to take the vocal test (PowerTest) at www.powertosing.com. That may help you.

      Your Larynx is coming up. Keep it down and you will go higher. Beware, it's harder if you are a teenager, but still possible.
