I went thru that off chute by mistake. It took me 1 1/2 hour. Also by myself. A lot of people don’t record this cause your so focused on not flipping.

That was kind of crazy. Scary when you're not used to that kind of trail. I usually stick more to the open desert myself but im just looking for nice scenery and not difficult trails, my blood pressure can't take it. My preference is to enjoy nice scenery, but I enjoyed your video.

Good video join a off road group/club and go out in groups. Never a good idea to go out alone. Things can happen quickly! Stay safe and happy trails. You will look back on this video in a year if you stick with it and be amazed with how your driving abilities have improved. The chute has claimed lots of vehicles. We see it all the time. Glad you made it down on all 4s
Thank you so much for watching!! Yes, we learned a lot doing this trail and this was only our 3rd trail we ever completed at that time. Looking back, this trail actually built our confidence and learned how capable our rig is. We are glad that we were able to capture some of the exciting and crazy situations and look back! 🙌🙌🙌
That was fun watching, I went with another off roading vehicle when I went and we got separated. I did the shute and another one that was just as scary doing alone without a spotter in my 2022 4runner trd pro. Made it out with a few pin stripes and scraped up rear bumper but it sure was fun. Wish someone was recording. Looking forward to seeing more! Be safe

guys offroading and exploring trails is fun. i dont think you did your homework on this one. there are many ways this whole adventure could have went really bad. always do youre homework on trails. dont get lost and subscribe to something like Gaia Gps.
Don’t ever go out alone. Our group has recovered a lot of people who go out alone who end up in bad situations. Glad everything worked out.

did you go to the bronco offroadeo? they teach you there a lot of offroad stuff.
No, they were closed when we went to Moab. But it’s all good, we are learning as we go. And this Cleghorn trail made us learned a lot and very quickly! Thanks for watching!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
@@TheBroncoAdventures Did you use the locking diff? Makes a lot of this stuff easier. and you really should go to the offroadeo it could save your life! You made a couple rookie mistakes, like going alone, not using a map, couple weird lines. You did pretty good, but you won't get lucky everytime!

@ 6:22 -- actually, that shows what happens when you have IFS instead of a solid front axle and detachable sway/stabilizer-bar: Poor articulation.

@@TheBroncoAdventures Please note that I wasn't criticizing your Bronco (or you two), just making the point that IFS (Independent Front Suspension) makes the Bronco better on the road/hwy, but off-road the solid axle works better -- that's why it persists on vehicles (Jeeps) today decades later, even though it's often criticized as an "antiquated" design.

@@billredding2000 no worries!! We know that Jeep has been rocking the off-roading community since they started and never stopped! We were supposed to get a Jeep Wrangler but instead we got blessed with the bronco!! Yes, we are definitely enjoying the trails!! On our upcoming videos, we actually went to a jeep meet up!! Lol
@@TheBroncoAdventures Well, in the real world -- meaning actually on the hwy and off-road vs. the advertising hype -- IMO the Bronco and Jeep Wrangler are pretty much equal, as each one can go wherever/do whatever the other one can do. Consequently, either one is a good choice.
Personally, I don't have a Bronco or even a Wrangler -- I have a Gladiator (a mid-size truck, which is a different segment so doesn't directly compete with the Bronco).
"Jeep Wave" -- even though you have a Bronco!
BTW, I "Jeep Wave" to Broncos, even though I hardly ever SEE any to wave to (they're pretty rare here in Colorado Springs). :-(

That's not an IFS problem, it's a rookie driver problem. Once they learn to pick a good line and get some better throttle control, something like that won't happen. I've taken my Bronco up the exact same trail with zero problems. Experience matters, and hardware is not always the solution for a software problem.
This really looked like a great adventure, and yes, lived another for more great adventures

Man you guys are crazy! Ya at this point, it’s better to go NOT go alone on trails that technical until you feel more confident! But man, it was a thrill watching it haha! You guys got more than you bargained for! Haha You guys are awesome!
Thank you so much, yea it was fun, nerve wrecking, and terrifying all at the same time. It was a great learning lesson and since this trail our confidence build up. It was our mistake that we went off track and that track was on level hard 😆 but it’s all good, thank God we got out of it!!! 😅😅😅
@@TheBroncoAdventures it can get way worse! 😂 I made a video when I went to TieRod Canyon here in Vegas and that’s a level 6. So imagine 7 and up! Some crazy stuff man! I’m sure you know, I saw you have BroncBusters part 👍🏼
I don’t make my videos consistently that’s why I’m not growing like you guys, but I have a lot of videos though haha. And lately more about my Bronco too! But I need to be more consistent on releasing. It’s so time consuming! 😂

Great video guys!!! That was a good test and you will only learn and get better at driving, spotting, communicating and knowing your limits. My wife and I just got a bronco too. We are in SoCal, we should meet up one day! We are super beginners in the off road world too

Great job! That was your first real test, anytime it really tests your abilities you gain experience and can use it.
Use the abilities of your Bronco, lockers, 4L, trail turn assist, etc.

Others have said it, but as a matter of safety, always go out with at least one other vehicle. There are some good off road clubs here in SoCal (SCORCH is one that immediately comes to mind) who love introducing new drivers the the world and teaching them the ropes, without being egotistical or condescending. I would also suggest that, in clear and dry highway conditions, you keep the truck in 2H. Using 4A one the highway is not recommended unless it's wet or slick. Welcome to the off roading world, and good job getting out and getting your Bronco dirty! I'll actually be at Cleghorn this weekend with my Bronco.

Cleghorn is like that. One wrong turn and it’s a white knuckle butt clinching ride. It’s also a great place to get some California pin striping. I’ve done the trail several times and it’s a great place to learn the limits of your rig.

i am glad you guys made it out safe and had a good time. Like the others have said, don't go alone... especially on a new trail. Going with some experience is a great way to learn and i know filming is important to get the video but... i know if you are trying to spot and shoot film, it's very distracting. If you go with a group or friends, at least someone can film and someone can spot :)
Any who, good job. I am a jeep owner and the overwhelming brand loyalty is silly, every car has it's pros and cons and you know what? Sometimes a car looks cool and that's enough for people.

Valley of the moon is a great trail for newbies as you'll have lots of options.
I have taken many newbies to offroading out there for practice and it's a very pretty drive.
