"You can save some money" The understatement 🙂
German border 600 Euros per month rent for 90m2 flat, 400 euros for 50m2, Luxembourg City 900 Euros per month for one single 12m2 room, 2000 euros for 30m2 studio.
Also in Luxembourg simply live in villages where the free public transportation train stop, you nearly have 18 hours of trains out of 24 hours in a day total. Wecker and Wasserbillig are way cheaper per month than Luxembourg City and on weekends by train you can go to Trier where lots of Luxembourgers go to buy clothes, eat in good affordable restaurants and go party in bars at nightclubs, and in the morning on Sundays you take the train back to Wasserbillig

Thanks a lot for your comment again! I live cheap here in my opinion 725e a month in the city center of Lux but I know I'm very lucky also I know that I don't wanna travel back and forth from outside of Lux even for work where now you have to show up almost every day in the office because there is no more tax deal between the cross boarding countries which basically adds 1-3h (depending where you live and how you get to the office) in the communing - I have 15-20 min to work so I can sleep more, go back home earlier, rest, take my time etc and after living my whole life where I was always spending 2-3h a day to commune this is heaven! I also love to be able to go home at any time at night without thinking how I get there and how long I have to wait for a bus - for me it's important but I can imagine for someone else it's not a problem, it always depends on what you need in life, I personally recommend anyways living in Lux city at the beginning as a young person who just started their career (unless you're an introvert and you know you go out at the evening/night very rarely or you seriously don't mind the things I mentioned earlier)

@@ByMagdaYT 725 euros per month is a good price. I understand why you live there for that low price.
I used to live in Bonnevoie, later in Hesperange and now a bit further, my 250m2 house would cost nearly double in the City (a City where i work but that has gone more violent and is full of drug addicts and is near empty at evenings especially the Kinepolis area during the week nowadays).
3 hours a day to commute ??? Must be from Nancy in France then because :
Luxembourg-Wecker by train is 30 minutes, so is Mersch.
Luxembourg-Remich by bus is 38 minutes.
Luxembourg-Berchem by train is 15 minutes.
Luxembourg-Perl (Germany) by bus is less than 40 minutes.
Luxembourg Nittel (Germany) by bus less than 40 minutes
For students or people without cars i understand why they like Luxembourg City, but many party people with cars or motorcycles live outside the city (and party in Luxembourg City but allround Luxembourg and neighbouring countries too. The better nightclubs (KuFa, Mondial, etc) and restaurants (Victors Gourmet in Nennig) are not in Luxembourg but outside Luxembourg. Many mid 30s to mid 40s from Luxembourg make mini trips to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Cologne, Munich, Dubai, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon, Helsinki, Edinburgh, etc because Luxembourg City has become quite a boring city since it's 2000 to 2010 best times.
My advise buy the cheap end of the year Luxair tickets (it used to be 99 euros for Luxembourg to nearby European cities via direct flight) and see nightlife in these cities for yourself via affordable mini trips.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us via your videos, i watched a few of them from time to time, young people can learn from them.
I have a "Made in Luxembourg" playlist on my channel, maybe you will find some interesting things in it (with from Luxembourg : singers, dancers, artists, martial artists, nightclubs how they used to be with world known stars coming to Luxembourg).
Time to go eat lunch, have a nice day. Peace

@@THEREALZENFORCE yes, that's my deal hahaha prices of renting a full apartment or house is totally other story - not talking about buying 🙈 when I said 3h I meant ppl who I work with and most of them living in France between Thrionville and Metz, which with traffic take almost 3h in a car to go and go back (I know inside Lux and in Germany is better) but for me even having a bus to work every 10 min instead of every 30-60 min is amazing but as I always say that's me haha thanks for all the recommendation and I'll check up your channel too when I have a bit of free time to do a good watch the playlist time haha enjoy your lunch and Sunday!

??? Most of the people going out at night or working in Luxembourg City live outside Luxembourg City. Also those who have cars can go at the following cool places :
For night clubs : Tier, Saarbrücken (Kufa), Metz in other neighbouring countries and some of the best and most elite places nightclubs, restaurants and bars where youth also go are in Luxembourg Villages.
For action : Arlon industrial zone has : Indoor Skydiving and indoor wall climbing
Mondercange has karting, Remich has waterfront, boat and jetski, the Moselle valley has better hiking sites, moto touring sites, food and vine than Luxembourg City, Brasserie Le Quai in Grevenmacher is a cool place.
Mondorf-Les-Bains has better water sources and wellness and more luxurious cinema than Luxembourg City.
At many places outside the city there are busses after 11PM to go home if you do not have cars.

Hello, I have a question concerning which language is spoken in Luxembourg in everyday life?

    • @ByMagdaYT
      @ByMagdaYT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Usually it's French, somewhere you can hear Luxembourgish (German is not so popular even if it's the first language for kids at school) and then everyone speaks English and there is tons of people from Portugal, Spain and Italy so usually you hear those languages too - I speak daily in English and often in Italian (the moment I get better with French I'll strat to include it in day to day life too)

We woudn't have a car at first, shopping in Aldi+Lidl probably and going to dinner maybe 2 a month.
Should 4000 EUR be enough for decent about 50m2 apartment with 1 bedroom + food and other small life expenses?
