Nice Video! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you thought about - Riddleagan Blossoming Solo Remedy (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great exclusive product for mastering guitar scales minus the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my work colleague finally got astronomical results with it.
Just came across your channel, newer guitar player here, 8months or so, and I've been trying to figure out how to apply scales, and after asking an instructor several times with no luck, I stopped bothering with lessons. This is exactly what i was looking for. This will give all those basic chords the flourish I've been needing on songs. Thank you.
I feel like what sets this apart from other you tube lessons is that he is very good at explaining himself, where most people just say "this is how its done" but don't either understand or explain the "why" like Sean does. Excellent!
Omg, I feel like my entire guitar playing has been unlocked and upgraded from this video, your channel is amazing. I'm learning guitar now and the content on your channel is just perfect. I'm taking the approach of acquiring the proper fundamentals instead of just learning songs and you offer that in amazing way. Thanks a lot!
OMG!!! I have had such a hard time understanding guitar scales until I found you. You make learning so easy and interesting. I learned the blues scale in box form last night and couldn't put down my guitar. And you teach FULL lessons. You don't give me a teaser and then want me to pay for your online lessons. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Keep those lessons coming.
Man this lesson of yours is an absolute treasure for any guitar enthusiasist. Today I understood the importance of scales. With this now I can take my guitar practice to the next level. Thank you so much mate. You just earned a subscriber🤗
I have been listening off and on today. Dude, you are good ! I've been playing for years and gotten modestly good . Anyone that can play guitar can hear that special talent. Love it !
Been playing for about a year now and learning by watching youtube videos.. and felt like I was at a point stuck progressing forward, and I must say.. excellent video, very clearly explained difficult concepts I'm sure.. and I'm now excited to continue working at this and further progressing. Thank you.
Reading the comments, I noticed that you answer questions, and thank people. You're one of few that I've seen on TH-cam that takes the time to do this. That added to the amazing teaching style you bring is incredible. Thank You for all you do...
Hey, I have been playing guitar since I was 13, I taught myself everything i know, which basically consists of me playing basic chords like, G, C, D, Dm, Bm, A, Am, E, Em... that's about it. I was looking at your channel, and you teach amazingly, but it all goes over my head, I think I'm watching your videos out of order or there is just a brick wall that I have hit with my guitar skills. I haven't been able to break it or get past just playing basic chords. I'm just trying to figure out my next step or few. Thank you.
These videos are awesome…there’s a million ways to learn theory but this is by far the easiest and most interesting to do soo! I literally can’t stop clicking the next videos that pop up… God bless you Sean and may your shower water never run cold…🙏

The video is great! Finally someone who gets to the point and knows what they are talking about. I only wish it was explained a little slower, but other than that, I cannot complain. Thanks!
Amazing video. Yesterday I was learning the major scale and I was wondering about the different ways that I could play around with it and this morning your video pops up. Very impressive and so easy to follow. I'm looking forward to learning more from you
This is one of the most astonishing things I've learned on. I never understood how, why, and what this meant. It opened up so much for me. This tells you how to go from hitting random notes to entering the sea of theory and making really good peices of music. Fill, Riffs, etc.
For me, this has been such a block for such a long time. Your videos are so liberating, I can't thank you enough! It's like I knew these concepts but I needed someone to walk me through weaving them together! P.S. reposting this comment because I had mistakenly left it on another video
found this to be super helpful for chord progressions. it adds little flair to the changes in the chords. I love your work you've helped me learned so much with just one video! I can't wait to see more!
So many teachers do not know how to answer this question. It took me forever to figure it out . Where the hell were you when I needed you. Oh that's right not born yet...Lol... Great lessons and quick answers and thank god you are correctly microphoned up so I can here what you are saying. I have subscribed so I can now teach my teacher what I pay him for.
Sean Daniel yessss and I have shown a few videos of urs to my teacher as well..and I like your style of teaching..this lesson is brilliant!!I have asked this connection without satisfactory explanation..just got a single word answer "it's improvisation"which was obviously not what I wanted to know..till I hit upon this lesson..and knew instantly it's called connecting a chord with its scale or as you call walking through the chords..thanks "shaun"..keep up the awesomeness..
Wow music theory always seemed difficult whenever I tried to learn it, I knew my scales but only the shapes really and kinda what sounded good or cool in them. I have watched four of your videos and everything just clicked! Seriously good job you could make a living doing this.
You are An enlightened being my friend. Everytime I want to learn something new I start checking your videos. Thanks a lot for posting such important knowledge online.

Yeah you are one of those too rare teachers that doles out bundles of top class theory with practice at same time...interesting fast paced and not spending 20 mins explaining a D chord. Mint
Great video... Funny as hell this guy talks like James Hetfield sings.. "Check out these chords-zaah... With these shapes-zaah... Do it like this-zaah" Great-aaah! Lol
Great stuff man. Been playing for years and hit a plateau awhile back. Not anymore! You and ian have instantly won me over. You always have great demonstrations after each section of teaching which makes it easy to follow. Best on the web! Please keep passing on the knowledge. Wish u guys the best.
Thank you so much. Guitar isn't easy but the way you explain things certainly makes it easier! I've just been watching your vids for te last three days lol
