great news, it's coming back into trend. Now with python and high-level programming languages, youths not only would be able to learn complex mathematics in a visual manner but also be able to thinker and use it in their daily life. In the past you have the chessboard kind of games where you roll a dice and answer qns to advance. Those "gamified learning" are not immersive nor engaging. Now, you can get a program like the minecraft education edition where they allow kids to play normally or they have access to code blocks where they can experiment to help speed up their fort building and crafting. You can use scratch to make your own flappy bird. The cost of computers and internet access has went down. Now computers are more accessible even in poor countries/nations. The next generation will fall in love with math and sciences especially when they can get instant gratification from their skillset. Also, I have seen coding classes for kids booming in south east asia and the kids love it. It's not the i have to do it because my parents asked me to but they really go for the lessons and they walk away with their own app, code and game accounts. And not just the kids, I see on linkedin and on the news that on every level, you start seeing people get interested in statistics in math because of the new ai boom and also because it's so much easier to enter into these fields. So the future will see a lot more people loving, learning and knowing about numbers at a rate that we have never seen before. I have people in their mid 40s, driving taxi for most of their life, telling me that they want to learn about automation because the recent news have all been about technology. And if we are all being honest, AI and automation at their core is math.

The bad thing about this movies is that they don't show the working aspect. Just like a Rocky movie show the training, they should show a person just with a paper and a pencil trying, and trying, and trying, going back and forward between ideas, formulas and graph, without hope of reaching good port, and then suddenly you realize that you hit the goal, and be excited about.
