My review after 1 year of using 2 x PETKIT Puramax Self-cleaning Cat Litter box!
At the time of filming this video, you could not buy the “Cat Litter Remover” from any online Australian stockists (let alone Petkit. They now stock this item online in Australia… still no N50 though!)

I‘ve bought one and it doesn’t leak and works quite well.
The motor and the gears could be a little bit better but coming from a German that is ; in fact; a compliment.
Still looking for the perfect litter but it is a good investment if you can spare the money.
If you have tha t much shit on the walls, it means it is still wet when the cleaning started. set the delay timer to 15-20min
. It will be less messy

Honestly, one of the best videos on this product. Thank you for taking the time and effort for making and uploading this video.
I’m seriously considering gettin one of these. I’m in Melbourne so I do worry about warranty issues (should they arise) but it appears the petkit distributor is in nsw so that’s not too bad.
I’ve only have one cat but looking to get another as I’m convinced Vader gets lonely when I’m at work. Hopefully there won’t be any territorial issues when I do, but if I need to buy two units, then so be it.
Regarding your cats scratching the ground after they exit the litter box, Vader does the same thing.
Regarding cleaning, should I get one of these (which I most likely will), to make cleaning easier I will apply a non stick coating on the insides of the unit. Perhaps Teflon. There’s are applicators available where you can simply spray the Teflon on, let it dry and voila. Of course I’ll need to make sure it’ll be odourless and usable on ABS plastics, there has to be some king of non-stick application that can be used in this instance.

Have you tried Petkit litter ? Is the one that you’re using is better or you don’t know ?
I haven’t tried the PETKIT brand because I wanted to continue using the brand I had found that was close to the litter that my cats were all ready used to using that wasn’t a clumping litter. I imagine it would be pretty good though as it was made for the their devices!

I just purchased my first puramax…question, what litter brand do you use?

I have this exact model and mine continuously tells me the waste bin is full, is empty. Advice?
Oh dear! Have you tried resetting it? Otherwise contact petkit. I received a response from them pretty quickly the last time I had to ask them something. Otherwise it might be a firmware issue? If you tell them the serial number they might be able to help... I think you can find it displayed somewhere if you lift the lid on the right to reveal the inside parts! Hope that helps!

Hi Melissa! I’ve never had any issues with leaking!
That problem is depend on your cats habit. First thing is, The direction that a cat scratches is likely due to the boundary of the waterproof pad. Also, other reason is When a cat fee on the bathroom wall, it's possible for the urine to seep into the gaps, which may be the reason for it.
I have this two kind of cats. That is my experience.
Mine is only 1 month old and leaks
