Hi, senior software engineer here with a lot of focus on security, it's very believable. There were hearings years ago where the government wanted to have phone manufacturers create backdoors so law enforcement could unlock any phone and it was ultimately shot down. This is a good thing. Not only would it open you up to attacks from hackers, but we shouldn't want the government to be able to step on our privacy like that.

1. Multiple people warn Secret Service that there's a man with a rifle on a roof nearby for minutes.
a. The Secret Service does not evacuate the former president.
b. The Secret Service does not engage the sniper
2. The Secret Service snipers closest to the president are at a vantage point where they can easily see the sniper.
a. They don't evacuate the former president
b. They don't engage the sniper until after he shoots.
3. The Secret Service claims that local police were in charge of the area where the sniper was which was VERY close to former president Trump.

4. The Secret Service won't answer questions about this incident.

My comment to you must have gotten deleted as I wrote it over an hour ago. Long story short, there are massive gaps of consistency that we are hearing from the media. The answers are out there, unfortunately you have to look deep and YT doesn't like free thinkers. If you're ever able to take a boat ride, then maybe the truth could be said.
Well earlier this month the democratic congress had been pushing to remove secret service from Trump.
Not to mention Homeland security refused to increase his protection 2 months ago and apparently a few rumors have circulated that fbi and Cia have been down their throats about every detail of their security and jurisdiction setting harder limits then usual on the shorthanded secret service security team.
Compounding that with the lawfare going on I'm betting a bunch of bureaucratic hand tying is the chief reason for lax security. And if I was more conspiratorial I'd say probably that was intended

I've been seeing this sentiment a lot from conservatives in the past few days.... It seems like conservatives all over the country suddenly seem to think that enforcing a gun free zone actually increases safety?
