Hi, I’m Sonny’s grand daughter and sadly no, youtube is the only place his music is still here to hear, definitely miss him, he was just as goofy as he was on tv in person as well and was the person who taught me to make smiley teeth with oranges 😂
@@luishumbertovega3900 he was honestly equally as funny in person as he was when he’d perform, I was really little but I still remember the time I’d spend with him bc he was just such a memorable person, wish he was still alive ngl but now I’m trying to make my own music after his footsteps 😁
@@TrianaBlades That's Great, Triana, wish you Lots of Success !!! perhaps the estate was not cash rich, only film rights. his sons are all very grown men in their 60’s+ and he wanted to leave what there was to his 20-something daughter and wife. it is customary for one’s assets to pass to the wife..... that legal language could’ve been to prevent the sons from challenging the will against his 2nd wife. who knows, surely not those of us outside the circumstance.
@@emmagoldman6591 Well said, Emma. His sons have lived a long and successful life. I am sure he left a great deal to charity as well. At a time when we applaud Paul Newman for his great philanthropic endeavors, they pail in comparison to Lewis who dedicated himself to the fight against Muscular Dystrophy. Nobody can question the heart of Jerry Lewis. If he did something he did it for a reason and we have no business questioning those reasons.
Jerry Lewis wasn't a drunk! And in 1988 he had cleared the Percodan for ten years already! What a sad life you have if you feel all this need to defame those who are better than you.
Two of the best entertainers ever!
Love watching this and thinking back to when Sonny sang this with Jerry and Dean on the CCH back in the 1950's. A real class act. :)
Martin Lewis YES...THAT WAS HILARIOUS.
Great comedic timing .
I laughed out loud. And I never laugh out loud.
🤣🤣🤣
HILARIOUS!

@@TrianaBlades Your grand dad was a very funny entertainer. I remember him as the hood who was always knitting in Robin And The 7 Hoods (1964).

It hurts me that they did the same number more than 30 years later but without Dean.
❤❤🤪💯🖤
As a kid I idolized Lewis, but I'm still shaking my head as to why he didn't leave anything to his kids from his first marriage.

@@emmagoldman6591 interesting perspective. Media does have a way of sensationalizing.
