- Nazare is a world class big wave surf spot. It's THE place in the world that has hosted the biggest wave ever & may potentially be the location for the world's first ever 100ft wave. The best big wave surfers on the planet gather here every Winter & wait for swells and waves that within one single ride, could change their lives forever. Few things 1. Congrats on the wedding. 2. Congrats on 6 years sober (5 years here and agree- life changing). 3. Charging Nazare on a soft top- legend! Lastly, don’t sweat the ring. What made it special is that it represents the bond you now have with Jordan. In reality, it’s just a thing and can be replaced. I have multiple that I change out depending on mood. I even have a $100 Star Wars version that’s engraved with our anniversary date and “The Force is Strong With This One.” The only thing that matters is the meaning behind the ring. Keep living your best life, FOR THE DREAM!!

Congratulations on six years sober, your marriage and generally just the enormity of your success. You’ve been a huge inspiration to me, I’m working on 18 months sober. Watching you totally motivates me, I serve more and better now than I ever have before. Portugal looked amazing, I studied in Cadiz, Spain and loved it. And yes, I lost of wedding ring also in the ocean! Have Jordan put the next one on your finger, it will be just as special. Keep doing what you’re doing!

My husband lost his wedding ring the day of the solar eclipse in August 2017. We were at the beach swimming during the event and poof it was gone. It was engraved and everything. He now wears a silicone ring and loves it. Surfs a lot and doesn't have to take it off for TSA

This guy is absolutely nothing short of a great human being. Not only has he gone through his trials and tribulations and faced his demons, but he has also done in a way to not only better himself but also his fans. Me included.
The secondary effect of Ben and his trajectory is that he brings many from around the world watching. We all take a 20-40 minute break out of our lives to sit and watch the fantastic ride he’s on.

I just watched this while I couldn’t sleep and Ben, I think today is the day I go sober. I drink 10 shots of whiskey a day and smoke about an ounce of Nug a month. As I lay here semi hungover, my liver hurts, my kidneys hurt, I worry that I’m on the edge of liver failure. I believe that if I don’t stop, I’ll be dead in under a year and I really want you to know that I’m appreciative of your honesty. Thanks Ben and I pray that I too can beat this demon. Cheers

Love you see it you crush it with Nazare!! As for the wedding ring, I lost mine in Ocean City, New Jersey while surfing right by Gillian's amusement park back in 2000. I remember how broken up that I was so I know how you feel about that. Hopefully they find it and you will be able to get it back.
Your message at the end is very inspiring and amazing!! The positivity that you showed literally got me back into the water and started chasing unheard of novelty waves again. Know that you are always supported my friend as you continue your journey!!
