When you ask, how is it that Angelina outperforms Adele's originals constantly, it must be understood that Adele is a non-jazz singer, whereas Angelina is 'rooted' in jazz, and when it comes to heartfelt ballads, there is no way any non-jazz singer can match the emotion laden penetration of a true jazz specialist like Angelina. If you really want to try and take her on, you better be on a level with her mentor, the great Billie Holiday, but anyone else is just spinning their wheels for it ain't going to happen.
A 12 yo girl who could easily pass as a Gibson Girl from the late 19th century. She is so beautiful and with that hairdo and the blouse she looks at least 25. And her voice speaks for itself. So good!

Adele is a great singer and amazing songwriter. But this is another cover by Angelina that I like better than Adele’s original. Angelina’s vocal tools, especially her ability to give us so many different textures, bring the lyrics to life. When Adele sings, we understand her pain. When Angelina sings these melancholy lyrics, we relate them to our own lives. We understand, we remember, we feel those times in our own lives. This s one of my favorite Angelina songs-and that is saying a lot.
