Best Damn Policy Trailer ever IMO. It gives me chills watching it and the music is awesome too. Even though we don't have UA Theaters in our part of the country, I still would have liked to see this on the big screen.
I've only been to a United Artists theater once in the 90s while on vacation, and the only thing I recall is an opening policy trailer involving the cast of "FOX NFL Sunday". The gist of which was their studio was being transformed into a UA theater.
I Remember Going To The Movies Back In the 90's because I've always watched this bumper before the original movie starts up because I've always catch the Early Matinee since the price were then cheaper during that time .
Well working in a movie helps. :) Once I learned how to splice and build film prints I figured that I could get a house reel and put my favorite previews on it. Scope first then flat last.
I always like to keep the titling and information about my videos accurate, so do you know what year this trailer was released, along with the year the "Experience The Magic" trailer was released, because I have also posted that trailer?
How could I have forgotten this is called "Odyssey" sorry for calling it "Bladerunner". There were 2 versions of “Bladerunnner” They changed the part with the kid in the popcorn (took out the kid). There is a very short lived one “Dinosaur” I also have that actual trailer I don’t have a projector to run it on. NWAWskeptic I will check-out film-tech thanks.
I found on this day. So great full vision sound very creative i never seen the other till nowaday
Thankyou I very love this

I mean I physically have this policy trailer on one of two house reels that hold a collection of my favorite previews and policy trailers.

I’ll put it right in his hand. No trash all end zone.
It have posted it here on TH-cam. Search "United Artists Theatres Policy Trailer (1999)".
Best one UA had!!!
Its the format of the films. think of it as like wide and standard. I worked for a Carmike for few years and had many days spent building films.
@gamecubechamp12 Yes I have the film that ran in the projector in a box in my basement It's called the "Magic Hat"
@UnionWorker63 United Artists are still around...I work at one...just part of Regal.
@JimsGeminiTube film-tech webpage has that trailer in their videos, just type film-tech as the URL with "com" suffix
This is the original UA policy that was playing when I got hired...better than any of the rest...especially the REG ones we have now
I so have this on my film reel. :)
This reminds me of The Fifth Element as well as Judge Dredd and Demolition Man.

Ah yeah...this was the policy trailer that played when I got hired in 1998
I remember this policy trailer before George of the Jungle haha
That soda machine has little fizzing bubbles inside and there's a person coming out of the pile of popcorn.

What do you mean by "scope first then flat last"?
Always thought there was something wacky about the guy in the popcorn.

That is awesome that you have compiled your favorite policy trailers on an actual film reel. How did you get the film reel made?
I know that "Toy Story" came out on November 22, 1995, but I am still confused what you are saying with your statement as a whole.
What do you mean?
Taken from:
The Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition
Hercules
Futuristic policy
Taken from Cats Don't Dance
Higher quality in 4k
How do you know that it's from Toy Story? That's impressive.
The future is creepy
And regal bought ua
