That color combo will forever be the best, and I dont understand why suzuki nevered offered it from the factory. Also on the seat cowl you could use ppf on it.
Love the color on it! And that rear hugger looks awesome. Random question on my SV n, I replaced the clutch cable with the "short" version for the naked and used the old one to take the same route, but I have to max out the tension on both ends for clutch to disengage. Did I somehow get the long version?
Hi dude I've got an sv just like yours but in the silvery blue kind of colour and I'm looking to mod it to a fully fared bike do you know where I can get the parts for it?
Sgoin on mate That rear brake fluid reservoir, is there any benefit to this at all or is it just a cool, minimalist (weight saving?) track day thing? I’d like to do some small tasteful mods to mine without massively changing the look of it And in your opinion what’s the best rear shock upgrade for an 07? I ask you because you’re the guru, forums is a free for all argument
Best shock would be penske or ohlins. Ktech, elka the next tier below. But those are serious race shit. Sometimes you can find them used and get them serviced Yss makes a decent street shock. I wouldnt bother with the zx/gsxr shocks anymore mostly because theyre all 15 years old and not rebuildable
YSS it is then, as I just rag it on the street I’m not a track bro and got no intentions of it just yet The reservoir hose, dumb question, what do you use and is it all good for daily street stuff? Sorry for the silly seeming questions I just like some reassurance on these things
@@spitthatmoraleout8603 it's called tygon tubing (or sometimes honda hose). It degrades over a couple years though, so great for race stuff, but does demand replacement much more often than plastic reservoirs
you really cant get there progressively unless you like taking apart engines over and over. the easiest way would be head port, cams, and 1 or 2 over cylinders/pistons. this one is a lwt build so it's thinner gaskets, cams, flywheel, but still stock bore. i think i had a build sheet saved somewhere

good idea on ppf. i should get intern tripod to do it for me some day

Adjust the worm gear. It's in the clutch adjustment video i put up
@@Mad8vCycles that's what I mean, that's adjusted to max at both ends
There are 3 adjustments...
The colour really stands out. Question about the rear wheel, the gen 3 wheel is wider than the gen 2??
yep, sfv and 3g are 5" rear wheel, 2g is 4.5"
Great SV! I really wish I had an S. 😁

Oem lowers have been pretty rare lately. Ebay cheapies youd have to paint to match (and stock paint is hard to match)

The reservoir hose is just less stuff and easier to bleed

Oil cooler delete? What's your take on this? Do you run one on your race bike, and if not, have you had any problems with overheating? Cheers
@@motoquincini.45 unless it's absurdly hot it really makes no difference. Neither of the current race bikes has them
Could you do a vid on engine mods tiers? What to do first, what last. How to progressively get to 85 rwhp?

Why would you have chinesium brake discs on a bike like that
@killzone32 Guy said has Galfer wave discs, these are not chinesium like your head is, they are made in Spain.
@@rhemyis he says the brake lines are galfer and you can tell the difference in the discs as the gaffer are straight cut and Chinese are curved
actually, these may be arashis. either way, they work
What spacer mods are needed for a 3rd gen wheel
none. just the abs caliper/carrier
