For this price, it should have the moving mouth, blinking eyes, and a moving head; or at the very least a little voice box with some recorded Good Guy lines. Seriously, how much extra would that have cost them.

If you go go on trick or treat studios and look at the good guy pic the last one I think with him in the box if u look closely that’s a different doll that’s the real accurate doll
If u look on the other ones he’s more tan and looks like rubber
You can actually get a animatronc good guy doll
My question is how long do you think the doll will last for? Seems lots of people say the foam has started to rip on the dolls they have all ready. And seen lots say the body will no last long before it goes bad because it is foam. So what do you think?
HALO 3 LOVER 3:16 In my opinion I think it should last a while. Memory foam lasts a while in my experience. My be shorter if you keep it in direct sunlight, or bend it/pose it a lot. I’d expect 5-10 years would be reasonable. Maybe even longer. Long enough to enjoy it and then get a replacement..hopefully better doll by then. But I’m no expert. Also we might be able to source a replacement body if that happens at some point.
Horror & Monster Collectibles 5-10 years is not that long though is it for $500. Makes me ask why on earth they did not use something else that would last longer for the body. So in 10-15 years time there may not be many of these around. Would love to see a stress test on the doll and see what it can with stand because seen lots say it rips apart so easy on the top of arms
HALO 3 LOVER 3:16 That’s just a guess. It could last 50 years, or 1 year. Without knowing what exactly they used, we just don’t know. But in general, TOTS is a shit company, so I’d figure on the lesser. Lol
The foam is awful! It's just got cracks really easy . it was bad choice to used that material .

I share your views on TOTS and pretty much leave it at that. I do think they did a decent job on this. I had very little hope they would do this justice which is why I passed on the kickstarter but they surprised me. May have to find this on the secondary market. Great review.
Simmon Mohan they are making more, just not the Kickstarter version. But to be honest, it’s not needed, so I would go paying a high price in the secondary market for one. Doll and box is all you need. The rest is all bs.

Hi! Is his wig glued all the way around or in some spots and lose in some spots? Mine is loose on some spots and I don't know if that's wrong or not
I have him put up, so unfortunately I can't go check. But I don't remember noticing it being loose in spots.

They do sell a lifesize real replica of the box for 40 bucks, they should have sold us that to begin with imo shipped with the doll. My kickstarter box also had protectors. I have no issues with the shape of their products once shipped or their quality. I do however have issues with their prices if anything, their shipping is ridiculous imo and they really kept tooting "affordable 1:1 scale life size Good Guy Chucky doll" but if you ask me 5-700 bucks for their dolls aren't exactly affordable considering I can find great customs on etsy or ebay for a little bit more than 1,000 bucks. I never got the decal or the pins yet I had kickstarter I got robbed. I actually think for the knife the Spirit Halloween one is much better than the TOT which is too huge and not great.

I have to say though I get a bit anxious about the foam . I sometimes have my Chucky sitting but everytime i get worried that the foam will tear...do you have any tips to keep the doll in a good condition for all the years to come?

IDK...to be honest I'm worried about the foam myself. I just saw on a forum that someone posted a cracked foam body.
@@HorrorMonsterCollectibles oh gosh. That just increases our anxiety. I think the best thing is to be careful when doing positions with it.
@@HorrorMonsterCollectibles i will never move mine to avoid cracks (its in a showcase) but i think the foam will get crumbly and breake over the time... 🤷♂️

Very nice & great review. I recently purchased the 15" Childs Play 3 "Pizza face" Chucky by Mezco. And it's fantastic. The detail on his face is brilliant!
I have him too. And to me it's the best Mezco Chucky that they have done. Glad you like it as much as I do! I love the string of meat going over the eye. :)
@@HorrorMonsterCollectibles Yeah i definitely agree with that. It's why i purchased it! The other Mezco versions don't even come close to the pizza face version. Glad they stepped up their game for better realism. Hopefully we see this quality continue in future releases? But this new trick or treat doll you have here is still a great score apart from the few minor flaws. 👌

Perfect review! The Good Guys logo bothers me the most. They're also having problems with the new box not being accurate. From TOTS nothing surprises me.
Do you have the Sideshow 1:1 Chucky? I have that one also and it's top knotch quality. Definitely the best mass produced Chucky out there. Probably my favorite horror piece.
Yeah, I saw the print error on the scale box. But like you said...not surprised. I don't have the SS. I passed on it back in the day (dunno why), and not it's stupid expensive in the secondary market. But you're right, it's excellent.
Horror & Monster Collectibles Yeah I almost passed on it myself until I saw that Tony Gardner worked on it with Sideshow. I've came close to selling it a couple times but just couldn't do it.

My doll has that glue smear too..the tip of my dolls nose is shiny..noticeable when you turn it just the right way...is your dolls nose shiny also
Magic eraser will remove the shiny spots and not harm the doll

Im waiting for the neca life size one,I just bought one from chucky belgium for a good price and Im in love with it...Tots childs play I love it and got a good price for it on ebay
I’m waiting on the NECA too...probably won’t be until the end of the year though.
Because I live in Canada it cost me over 750$ to buy him from the second batch I will get him soon end of August or first week of September.

What a *RIDICULOUS* joke, with ToT trying to compete with NECA 😂. On one hand, you don't have to pay a penny to pre-order the superior $450 NECA one. Or, you can pay $600 upfront to get the not as good ToT version....then pay for shipping before it ships. Blows my mind that anyone *that dumb* would pay $200 more for an inferior product.
Yeah, I mean before NECA did a full size, but now, I think TOTS are going to lose a good chunk of sales to NECA. I freaking love NECA. lol

I would almost be tempted to get a ToT Chucky, if they made a regular Chucky; not a Good Guy doll. Not sure if NECA will tackle a part 1, 2 or 3 Chucky at some point. With getting the Bride version by them, I just can't justify spending more than $300 for a Good Guy doll....much less $550 or so. Even though it's my least favorite look, I still would love one of these non possessed versions.
Yeah, it's not my favorite look either, but I'm a huge Chucky fan so I felt obligated. haha

I untied the shoes on mine and I can’t figure out how to tie them back
I took the laces off of both and laced them how I wanted. It wasn't too bad. Just like lacing a normal show. But you might need some needle nose pliers to reach down in the show to grab the laces as they're pushed through.

I don't think so. But I'm not 100% sure as I don't remember specifically.

Lol tots banned me on fb because I linked your Billy review with my concerns with the chucky doll being of similar quality, I did purchase the good guy and I'm pretty happy with it for the price point. Great review keep up the good work!
Yeah, it's a bit ridiculous. And I'm sorry that you were banned as well. I didn't do anything in the video except show the actual product I got. And that's after raising concerns and getting banned for it. Whatever. We have a decent Chucky, and that's all that matters. I'm probably done with TOTS now.
TOT Blocked me also on IG and also some of my friends . they really had bad reputation with customers service . 👎

Got blocked from tots fanpage.. showed how the Myers mask 2018 look on the website and mine lol was nothing like the one from tots website.. got unblocked after I talked with the guy who run the Facebook page.. got the 2 dolls good guys I ordered from them .. one with GOOGLE eyes and riping under the arms and the other LOGO was off and riping under arms.. I showed the 2 dolls on their pages and they blocked me again and deleted my comments lol not buying from them anymore!
Yeah, there are so many of us there have been blocked it's ridiculous. And then to have the BALLS to say they haven't heard a single thing negative about the doll! That's no way to run a company. I will never buy from them again.

I don’t like their foam bodies. I was going to buy this one but i rather buy swirlworld studios. It’s much more but at least it’s going to last.
Great review!! I heard a lot of bad things about tots and so I when with my gut and bought the doll on eBay, the doll came 3 days after purchase and it was perfect! Really not a complaint about the doll! Sucks about the company being shady, hope they get their act together for their new release of the seed dolls and future products

Where is a good place to get replicas that are actually good but dont cost a fortune? TOTS are cheap but the quality isnt there, scary closet looks really nice but are the price of a used car hahaha where can collectors go? Or is it just an example of you get what you pay for and go scary closet?

Yeah, they have inconsistencies when it comes to that. Even on other dolls like Annabelle
early this month my brother bought me a friends to the end trick or treat studios good guy doll as a birthday gift and as soon as i unwrapped it i smashed it to bits because i hated it so much it was the worst gift i ever got in my whole life please do not buy anyone this doll under no circumstances this has to be the most stupidest gift to buy anyone in the world for any reason.
The only things I've purchased from them were the two Gremlins. Thank god I didn't get either one of the Mogwai's. As you mentioned..talk about some false advertising.
Good video, I’ll give a like just cause of your work & being professional. As for tots, agree with tots being a shady company, never doing business with them AGAIN! To each their own that like them, want cheap masks etc, I get it. Works for the pockets but Jesus H. Christ, they can’t even produce at least decent items. As for me, ALL my experiences I had SUCKED with them. Bad customer service, false advertising pics on items when purchasing then receiving it, doesn’t even come close to what you thought you was going to get. Post photos of what the consumer is going to get, not what you want them to expect getting. Packaging/shipping isn’t all that great either too with tots. All & all, do your homework before purchasing with tots & or anyone for that matter. I personally rather purchase from an independent artists (masks/dolls etc) than EVER deal with tots, Sad but true. You’ve been warned for those that didn’t know, now you do.
