A while back i heard this story that people (action stars) were at a party and Seagal "allegedly" was talking all this smack to Jean-Claude Van Damme , who let it go at first, but as the night continued he just kept bragging about how amazing he was and how he was the strongest one here and how no one could beat him. As a long-time Kennie and GG fan (new to Amanda via this).. I REALLY feel Kennie's nerves. It's interesting to see her in this environment. On Kennie's channel, she is super comfortable and confident in her opinions and how she holds herself. She is so funny. I look forward to seeing that version of her on this show. Steven Seagal is a neverending source of unintentional comedy. There's just so much crazy stuff. I'd recommend Red Eye Review's interview with Titus Paar, director of Steven Seagal's only Sci-Fi movie: The Perfect Weapon. It's quite something.
Since you guys encouraged new facts, in addition to all of that crazy stuff. He has claimed to invent the front kick and taught it to one of the most skilled martial artists in the world. This might somehow relate to the Yakuza thing. So, the at the time MMA champion Anderson Silva achieves this really cool looking victory by throwing a front kick into his opponent's face (his name's Vitor Belfort if you're at all interested). For whatever reason Silva at the time was doing something with Steven Segal. (He clearly wasn't learning to fight since as I said he was a world champion) Segal in an unhinged yet calm interview insisted he created a perfectly efficient kick and taught it to Silva and another fighter Named Lyoto. For context both had been doing Martial arts for basically their entire lives and the front kick is day one stuff. But the Yakuza connection comes from the fact that Silva used to compete in MMA organization Pride FC, which was funded by the Yakuza.
I'm 47 minutes in and I don't know if they brought up the fun Steven Segall fact of how when he went toe to toe with an actual martial artist, he got knocked out immediately and shit himself at the same time

All 3 of these creators on one channel is amazing because I found them all separately within the past 3 years. These three speak to my sarcasm and similar POV's.
I also vaguely knew of him as an action star and law enforcement person; my uncle loves action movies so I've had to suffer through my fair share of him, Sly Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, etc, and my aunt enjoys the shows on the channel that features his cop show here in South Africa (although we've never watched his show in particular). So, I'm more than curious enough to look this guy up and dive into all the mess, but I'm so terrified of taking the plunge.

A while back i heard this story that people (action stars) were at a party and Seagal "allegedly" was talking all this smack to Jean-Claude Van Damme , who let it go at first, but as the night continued he just kept bragging about how amazing he was and how he was the strongest one here and how no one could beat him.
Van Damme being done with his s**t told him to come outside so he could prove it to everyone, Seagal said that he would, but his ride was here and he couldn't have them waiting and left the party 🤣🤣🤣
This is HILARIOUSLY wonderful. Mista GG led me here, but LOVING Amanda and Kennie. I offer up that I actually READ A BOOK about Seagal and called On Deadly Ground my favourite movie.
As a long-time Kennie and GG fan (new to Amanda via this).. I REALLY feel Kennie's nerves. It's interesting to see her in this environment. On Kennie's channel, she is super comfortable and confident in her opinions and how she holds herself. She is so funny. I look forward to seeing that version of her on this show. Also, I'm glad I was introduced to Amanda. GG feels at home in this formula. He has reached Philly D level, in my mind, in a can-do-no-wrong- kinda way. Thank you for reading my ramblings

Steven Seagal is a neverending source of unintentional comedy. There's just so much crazy stuff. I'd recommend Red Eye Review's interview with Titus Paar, director of Steven Seagal's only Sci-Fi movie: The Perfect Weapon. It's quite something.
Since you guys encouraged new facts, in addition to all of that crazy stuff. He has claimed to invent the front kick and taught it to one of the most skilled martial artists in the world. This might somehow relate to the Yakuza thing. So, the at the time MMA champion Anderson Silva achieves this really cool looking victory by throwing a front kick into his opponent's face (his name's Vitor Belfort if you're at all interested). For whatever reason Silva at the time was doing something with Steven Segal. (He clearly wasn't learning to fight since as I said he was a world champion) Segal in an unhinged yet calm interview insisted he created a perfectly efficient kick and taught it to Silva and another fighter Named Lyoto. For context both had been doing Martial arts for basically their entire lives and the front kick is day one stuff. But the Yakuza connection comes from the fact that Silva used to compete in MMA organization Pride FC, which was funded by the Yakuza.
I'm 47 minutes in and I don't know if they brought up the fun Steven Segall fact of how when he went toe to toe with an actual martial artist, he got knocked out immediately and shit himself at the same time

One bit of constructive criticism, I think Mista GG needs to engage more with whoever is telling him the story/episode content, it feels a little one sided atm and I think it could be a lot more conversational and fun if he piped up a bit more

I also vaguely knew of him as an action star and law enforcement person; my uncle loves action movies so I've had to suffer through my fair share of him, Sly Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, etc, and my aunt enjoys the shows on the channel that features his cop show here in South Africa (although we've never watched his show in particular). So, I'm more than curious enough to look this guy up and dive into all the mess, but I'm so terrified of taking the plunge.

I know a random Steven Seagal fact. There was like a German documentary about the Panchen Lama, the number 2 of Tibetan Buddhism after the Dalai Lama (when one of them dies, the other one takes over basically and becomes like the mentor of the reincarnation of the other one etc. Like, they need one in order to recognise the other when they are reborn.) Panchen Lama was arrested and used by the Chinese government when the Dalai Lama fled to India. The chinese coupled him with a woman and he had a daughter (which doesnt usually happen because Buddhist monks live celibate lifes.)
However, Steven Seagall has a VERY random role in this whole thing as he offered the daughter of the Panchen Lama REFUGE in America. Idk if its some publicity stunt, or the actual bribe for being "recognised as a reincarnation of a famous figure" etc. But he actually had the GUARDIANSHIP over the "Princess of Tibet."

Love MistaGG and Kennie! I love this idea and can't wait for more episodes! Really would've loved more facts and a deeper dive into the Seagalverse, I totally believe you that he's awful but as a whole this just came off as a bunch of random facts. It's a new project and I love everyone involved so I don't want to be critical but it needs a little more grounding. I've watched Kennie for years so I know she knows how to explain things succinctly and maybe she was just nervous and she'll get into her groove as this thing progresses.
