Trying to feel alive, feels like the end credits to a movie, where the protagonist is finally at peace with themselves, after overcoming their personal struggles.
I also like how we hear his real voice I'm this song - it's like he finally doesn't have to hide behind mask anymore.
There's 2 MVs from Porter that I can relate this to, and it's kinda surprising that "Easy" MV fits these more ways than "Shelter" do.
It's the last song of the album so it fits perfectly

Listening to this on a friday morning saying to myself, 'this is going to be the best day of my life'
This is easily Porter Robinson’s magnum opus, the epitome and autonomy of his music is in this song. This song is what Porter Robinson means to me. Simple, cute, beautiful, rugged, and worthwhile arrangements and melodies. Harmonicas, kalimbas, Microsoft synthesizers, and the simplicity of all of that is in this masterwork.
and Porter finished this album with his own voice, without a pitch corrector, it's so beautiful, really, as if everything was going towards this, an incredible sense of completeness, and his voice sounds so warm and kind, thanks God for Porter, I seemed to have been waiting for this album all my life, I am so happy listening to this

this album means so fucking much to me. even the wait itself was kind of a spiritual journey because a lot of the singles dropped around the same time as some of my personal breakthroughs. i didn't make music when this album dropped, but i've struggled a lot with this sort of self-destructive type-A behavior and so i'm intimately familiar with a lot of the themes in this album. whenever i slip into old habits, this album reminds me what the spark i live for feels like.

This just makes me dream of a time when I’ll get to hang out with my friends again and we are all laughing together around a campfire but there’s this inner peace, this moment where time just stops and I realise this is the feeling of being alive. I’ve been surviving for this moment.
I don’t think I can state with words just how much my life has been impacted by the incredible music you create. I first heard your music back when I was still in freshman year of high school, it filled me with a feeling I can’t really describe, it had so much soul in it. I continued to listen to it throughout high school, I don’t think I went a single day without at least one of your songs playing in my crappy knock off earbuds from the dollar store. Even today I still listen to each of your songs constantly. The music you make has given me so much comfort and joy over the years that I couldn’t possibly in my life hope to repay you for what you have done for me. I’m completely serious when I say that I cannot imagine where I would be without it. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you have done, both for me and for others. This song came at the PERFECT time. I'm finally starting to find purpose in my life and live for the things I want to do. It's taken me years of struggle, depression and bouts with suicidal ideations. But maybe all that was worth it, maybe all of that was to mold me into the person I'm meant to be. Maybe it's okay I'm never satisfied with experiencing something and have to keep doing more and more until I've seen all I can. Maybe it's a gift that I'm still trying to feel alive. This song shows me that my pain, my struggles, were always gifts to me. They showed me how strong I am and gave me purpose in my life. Fuck, this song is the one that resonates with me the most at this current moment in my life. Thank you, Porter.

Side note: I remember one night where I decided to try out a new burger place that was about a 30min drive for me, so I got in the car and turned the radio way up and played this song over and over again. It was so great driving at night with the windows down, feeling the nice cool breeze, looking at the night sky while having this song was blasting through the radio, driving to a new area and seeing new places, while also being very excited for my burger. Both the drive there and back was so much fun! Despite the fact that my life is very rocky at the moment, this little adventure made me so happy. Ah, good times. For the first time in a long time, I've felt spring thanks to this album coming out. A thank you would not go far enough to describe my gratitude
Did not expect a song titled so melancholically to slap this hard. The way it builds kind of reminds me of a Pogo or Liltommyj mix. Lyrically, that last verse calls back to Get Your Wish, thematically; maybe all the struggle of trying to create something is worth it if someone else can get something out of it, maybe it's okay that neither the process nor the praise that accompany it can REALLY leave you satisfied because maybe they're not supposed to. I dunno. That's just my interpretation.
What an album. Sat out on my porch and looked at the moon and sketched a bit and had some chocolate pudding while I listened to it. Not quite the drive to the sunny field that Porter recommended, but the album released at nighttime in my time zone.
