    I tried it at home but not with Gas oven tandoor because we have an electric stove top. I tried it in oven and what amazing flavors, omg! Thank you soooo much for sharing this recipe.

    Dear Harpal Ji, I tried this, and it came really fantastic. The unique thing in that was use of gramflour with Ajvain, and in last Adding mustard oil. I really like your cooking coz you really enjoy it. Also saw the video of "Dal" will try soon and will tell you how it comes.

    Thank you for sharing the authentic tikka recipe. Pouring hot oil to the curd will make the curd tangy. Wow great idea. Now I don't need to add store bought tikka masala. I made this it turned out so well.

    Parul if using a microwave use it in a convection mode and set the temp at 180 deg C and cook for about 12 mins, keep basting the paneer in between...

    The addition of gram flour and mustard oil truly enhances the flavour , I really like trying out your awesome recipes . I grilled the veggies and paneer on a stove top grill pan . The final result was super . Thank you

    Try it out, if you don't have a gas oven tandoor then you can grill it in an oven at 180 C, do not forget to pre heat the oven...

    The Gas oven tandoor is meant for working on gas flame only. You may however try the Paneer tikka in a convection oven or an Oven, pre heat oven at 180 Deg C and then add the paneer tikka and cook for about 6-8 mins.

      I don't have a tandoor . And I think most people don't. So really this is recipe is redundant. It would taste different , odd maybe with the gram flour , in an oven or a grill.

I wanted to ask you if the Gas Oven Tandoor that you've shown here works on electric coil cooking top as well. Unfortunately we don't have gas based cooking range here, so please tell us if it works fine on electric gas too.

    Yes you can use a OTG,first pre heat the oven at 180 deg C for about 5 mins and then grill the Paneer at the same temp for about 5-6 mins or until the Paneer is properly grilled
