In short, it was a board that the buyer could highly recommend if there was an N3 within the budget he was planning. Even considering its performance and quality, the N3 was a cost-effective board. If you want a long-range and more powerful motor power, choose the Samsung 50E cell's elite model ($2199), and if you want to choose a smaller range but a better budget, the regular model ($1899) of the Molic P42A cell would be good.
*Nice to see lil Kami again!* And a new board!! 🤩 ⚡️🤙🏽🤟🏽⚡️ Blackout and Chrome/Silver 🤩🤩 Black clothes/outfit with TSG Pass 🤩🤩 Wow, over 40 miles range in cold weather and with big wheels. 👌🏽 Another awesome review bro! 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I couldn't upload the video for 2 weeks because my schedule was out of order. But we came back :) Definitely, the range was good. But now I know this time, a friend who weighed 25kg more than me rode it, and the range difference was huge. I didn't expect the range difference to be this big depending on the weight. I guess we have to starve ourselves for a long range lol Thank you always, brother :)
day dreaming about this board! and hey they give you extra nuts and bolts!!! I had stripped my S3 bolt early on and now they give you extra!!! man i cant wait till i can afford to upgrade!!!!!
You make the best reviews on Eboards! Im trying to choose between this and the Propel Ruckus. Ignoring the prices, which would you recommend more for someone who's been using a belt drive board for the last 5 years? Thanks for all the great information in your video.
Hey buddy! Amazing review! I really just have one question before I consider buying. Did you notice any lack in performance because of the Samsung 50e battery configuration?
It seems to me that they solved that problem by using a larger motor that is more power efficient. And while I was riding it, I never once felt anything lacking... Sincerely.
I still love my B-one Titan, and it has more power than I'll ever need, but you have me really wanting to buy one of these!!! The standard battery would be plenty for me, not to mention, I'd prefer the reduced weight. The only thing I wish my Titan did better is having the ability to make tighter turns. It's fine on the streets, but on tighter paths making sharper turns can be problematic. It sounds like this board might do better?
N3 is also equipped with TKP truck like Titan. However, due to the split deck system, the steering of the front truck is better than Titan. And I think the quality of the truck itself is incomparably good. I think it is a board that can be recommended without hesitation for riders who are considering N3.
@@KAMiJUINs Thank you for your insightful reply! Does it truly have the mobility to turn like a DKP system? How was the high speed stability of this board (especially compared to the Titan? Lastly, if you were buying this board, would you buy the standard model or the Elite? Thank you again, I love your reviews!
It was able to do almost as much steering as DKP. As I introduced in the video, if you feel less stable, you can replace it with an additional bushing set. We may feel differently because we have different weights. And I think I'll choose the regular model because the range is not an important rider.
Hey. If you want tighter turning, you can stick the b-one dkp trucks on the titan easy as. They are only $119 for a pair. You don't need to buy the deck plate but buy the backing frames ($6). Very easy to fit. The dkp trucks mount drop through (look at photos of the Hercules to see how). You may need to shave the edges of the deck holes with a craft knife slightly to fit the base plate
Great review, Kami! How is the performance of the Samsung 50E cells? Do you notice any battery sag at all? It seems the 50E cells have a 9.8A continuous discharge. Does this mean the board only has an overall max discharge of 59A? Curious to hear your thoughts, thanks!
I will only speak as I know. First of all, the peak discharge rate of the 50E cell is 14.7A. (Continuous max 9.8a) Still, the total discharge rate of the battery is not high. So it seems like they applied a larger, lower-revving motor to the Elite. In general, it is known that as the size of the motor increases and the number of revolutions (Kv) decreases, the efficiency per power increases. Therefore, powerful power can be exerted even with a smaller amount of current. I think this is probably the principle. And the power performance was strong even with a 50E cell, and I didn't feel any voltage drop while riding. Thank you for watching :)
@@KAMiJUINs thanks for the explanation! I'm just a little confused about why Acedeck would use the 50E on their elite model instead of the P42A or the 50S. Good to know that performance doesn't seem to be affected!
It's strange why they went with the much less powerful 50E for the Elite 6890 version, being that they're both 14s6p. Math doesn't tabulate. Opposite. 🤔. Other than that I love your videos KAMi 🤘. You're a great Ambassador 👍
@@pimpdaddydeluxe @user-bn3pr2ns6b Good question, guys! In testing, with 15A peak discharge of the 50E, though less than the p42A, we didn't found it to make a huge difference in power delivery in real life condition. The Elite is still an extremely powerful board, as Kami can attest, but with almost 300wh more of battery capacity. The 6890 motor has a higher thermal efficiency at peak discharge, making also more range efficient. Hence the price difference. We would, however, offer custom N3 orders with 6890 motors fitted with the p42A battery pack. Though these custom designed motors are a lot more expensive.
I love skateboarding, I remember when I saw a movie from the 80s and saw one of the characters going to school on a motorized skateboard. This was in 1992 I think, I was fascinated that one day skateboarding like this would exist. Who knows, one day I might buy one of these skateboards. However, today this price is prohibitive in Brazil. The value of this skateboard being imported to Brazil would be enough to buy a used popular car.
I'd say.. Z1 + N1 = N3. Price for 1554Wh is hell of a steal in my opinion and I'd like to see that with Kegel urethane wheels if it's supported. That'd be wild but big enclosure is going to be very close to the ground. Question is.. any wheelbites with the bashguard on the front when turning?
The suggested minimum wheel diameter in Gear Drive 4.0 is 160mm. So PU wheels look impossible. And of course, there was no wheel bite. If that happened, they wouldn't have shipped it.
I really hope they also release the N3 in a version with an N1 sized battery compartment, aka 14s4p, so we can run it with street wheels like Mad 105mm.
Having reviewed both the N3 and the new Acedeck X3, if you were to compare them both as street boards fitted with Mad wheels which would you prefer when riding on asphalt in terms of maneuverability and at high speed?
Among the boards I have experienced, it is one of the quietest, excluding the hub motor. The reason why the driving noise is loud in the video is because it is recorded with a directional microphone during filming. The actual driving noise is very small even though it is a gear drive board.
Hello, by chance do you know if third party hubs can be used with this gear drive? I am curious about buying this board and putting Meepo future tires on it. Thanks!
Hello :) In the case of Meepo's "FUTURE TUBELESS tire", it can be mounted directly on this hub. (You can fit it directly into the N3 hub as long as you have a tire, without the need for a hub.)
If you reduce the range a little "Belt Drive / 60A / 14s3p Molicel P42A/180mm AT Wheel" $899 This option is very good. Check it acedeckboards.com/products/nomad-n1?variant=44897788068154
