To be honest, it only took me four days to get used to the job. It seems like a lot at once but just remember that it is repetitive so you have plenty of opportunities to get all the information down. Burger King is a system. You have someone taking orders, someone bagging the orders and someone charging/handing out food. Remember this system and apply the menu to it and that will primarily be what you practice every shift.
I used to have really bad social anxiety until I started working here. Being good at what you do plus having a great manager behind your back truly makes a significant difference. It’s nerve racking at first but it truly is fun once you get everything down. Good luck !!

Mcdonalds POS has actual images of the food. But I don't mind this once I saw how it looks to modify the ingredients like no pickles, ketchup, and add bacon set up. We have only 1 burger king here, though it is a tourism city, but it is what it is.

Usually your manager will choose your position. However, you can request switching but it must be a good reason. If you do not know where an item is located, always ask!!
The only instance I’ve had someone switch was due to her adhd, she could not listen to the customer and understand what is going on in the drive through as a cashier and needed to be a cook instead.
Thank you so much! To find the Triple Whopper, you must first go on the whopper tab. There is a “page down” button located on the bottom right slightly above the clock in button. Great question! If you send up an order there is a “delete” button option. Please keep in mind though that most stores count how many “deletes” they accumulate over time so please be cautious with your deletes. However, let’s say a customer ordered a cheese burger then came to the window and asked if you can change it to a chicken jr. for this type of scenario, it’s highly likely you already clicked the “total” button. If I did not explain in the video, the total button is the FINAL button you click to add every item up plus tax. Please be cautious with this button as well. When you total the tab, you CANNOT remove an item. You MUST get a manager’s approval in order to remove an item from the tab. You are able to add more items as you please though. So back to our situation. You would add the chicken jr to the tab and ask a manager if you can get a “guest recovery” (don’t stress about memorizing this term) to remove the cheese burger. @@lewdix50.00 but it doesn’t have the “.” So basically on the system it’s 5000
How do i void it Aka delete it or Like erasing the order like fixing it without charging it! ??🤷🏻??
If it’s a single item, you have to get manager’s approval and then they can issue a “guest recovery”. if it is an entire order than you must have a manager over-ring it.
What's an S.L.O?

Does anyone know how to select the two for twelve? Meal
How do I add the exact amount of money the customer gives? I can't find it.
Just type it into the numbers on the right side of the terminal, and press total.
@@mattiefaith6535sometimes when i try that it gives me the wrong change, do i need to add 0’s after i put an amount, for example if the total is $38.76 and they give me $40 would i put 4000 or 400? Or is it something different

I don't have a lot of stuff just telling you should have made this video an inventory came in
We don’t have them because they were limited time offers, not because of lack of inventory. They’re just kept on the menu because they return often.
