This very well-educated, well-read, well-bred man asked his daughter on national television, “So how HEAVY were you?”! And when in reply his daughter tried to share her struggle with PCOD and hormonal imbalance that had caused her weight gain, this very well-educated, well-read, well-bred man interrupted her and said “Oh, so it had nothing to do with pizza?” and body shamed her on a very popular show on national television. And then this very well-educated, well-read, well-bred man "joked" with Karan Johar that all he would ask a potential suitor of his daughter was, “Got cash? Take her!” and when she said “Dad, people might misunderstand what you are saying.”, this well-educated man made clear what he meant by of course “jokingly” saying “Rate Card" *giggles*. And then he kept repeating this priceless joke to the point where his daughter had to say to him, “You should get the hamper for selling your daughter.” A very well-bred and well-educated family they are... where the father jokes about selling his daughter and her having a rate card, ridicules her and body shames her in a country as misogynistic as India and the daughter pretends to be upset about it... it's just precious.

Print & media ads, fashion shows , radio shows start getting dominated by actors is not good at all..
I mean all actors have to do is just make an appearance , there will be a whole team working for them to make look good. I'm sure that's going to be the case with the radio show, unlike RJs who are observant, do improv on the set somebody else is going to do the research, cover up their blunders,come up with great questions but not get due credit... I'm fed up with seeing actors (A-listers) everywhere- print , media ads , fashion shows, radio....I want the good old days back , fresh faces endorsing brands , walking on ramp, slowly building their career and becoming a brand themselves. Same case with cool RJs who keep things real and relatable

I don't understand the magnitude of hate she's receiving here. She's privileged to live the life of a queen. In my teens, I used to adore Kareena Kapoor. Her acting and the way she looks. As I grew up (as there was no choice) I started disliking her because she stopped or simply limited her growth as an actor. She remained a "star" and a passive one. This interview is the final nail in the likeness* coffin, she seems completely detached from her art of acting and also did not bothered to enhance her intellect. However, she seems like a great mother, good for her.
She is an amazing actor too. No one can denny that.

When I look at kareena I think of lost opportunity. She could have done so much more in the industry, but all she did was play safe and become just another frivolous actress. She has a thing or two to learn from actresses like Kangana.

Speaking/eloquent conversations is not her job.. Her job is to act... She used to pretty good at it... And for her age , she looks stunning.
It brought a smile on my face when Kareena had mentioned “a child needs nurturing and love” as a parent we all forget this. I remember when my cousin had his first born. I had called to congratulate and all he was going on about is, which school he wants to send her daughter to, what he wants her to be...! That 10 min conversation was so annoying. Kareena is as much a part pf Bollywood as anybody else. Geez, stop with the negativity. You can't tell Anupuma what she should do. Film Companion has great content, and like any other venture, sometimes it strikes with all of us, sometimes it's a misfire. The whole idea is to keep trying.
She never shies away from asking difficult questions, she always tries to keep the conversation interesting and comfortable for her guest.
