I started playing this game on the "Hard" difficulty, and haven't had a particularly difficult time, so I would say that as long as you start on the easier difficulties, you should be fine. There will probably be some hiccups along the way, given there are action elements you may not be used to doing, but as long as you take it slow, it should be fine.
