- After two years in development, Five Nights at Treasure Island's grand conclusion Oblitus Casa finally released on Gamejolt, only for the game to be REMOVED mere hours later.
Of course, I got my hands on it, and my gosh... it may just be the best FNAF fangame ever made.
Five Nights at Treasure Island was one of the first FNAF fangames to achieve major popularity, and nearly a decade later, the series has finally concluded with OBLITUS CASA Radiance Team's massive conclusion to the FNaTI saga.

As mentioned above, the game isn't currently available for download; the developers have temporarily revoked it in order to make a few last minute tweaks. However, it should be available again very, very soon.
Unfortunately, at the time of this video's release, it's been over 24 hours since Oblitus Casa and the updated release isn't out yet. It should be out super soon.

I remember quite well how the og five nights at treasure island scared me to the point I couldn't sleep (well) for 4 days, absolute blast with 2 friends tho.

Just noticed that Belial actually looks like Ortensia, before Mickey Walt Disney used to have a different creation known as Oswald The Rabbit, and the character’s romantic interest was a cat named Ortensia. Looking at the form you can clearly see her head, and she even had a flower hat too, neat little touches!

Fun fact. If Disney sues this for copyright it means they’re claiming it uses their property. Which means it’s cannon. So not only does TF2 exist in Encanto, but FNaTI is officially Disney cannon

The fact that we started off with a fan game that had absolutely garbage jumpscares, to THIS is amazing.
i liked the jumpscares in the og fnati not the remake

I love how Jake just looks at the oil barrels next to Hourglass and as he is about to attack Jake takes out his lighter and he was like "NOPE." and just burns Hourglass instantly to a crisp.

I love how Pete's mechanics are.. oddly very in character for Pete. Pete mostly likes to bother other people but doesn’t want himself to be bothered.
So Pete being annoyed by light and you quickly having to turn off the lighter, is very true to his character, a grouchy, bad person.
I love how they used old characters like Ortensia and Oswald, they deserve so much

I actually have no problem with Mother/mickmick speed at 3 am since I was always able to push her back to cam 9 every time The Face attacked. The real problem is the fact that whenever she laughs she disappears and goes to the attic and acts like a more unforgiving Pete (if you go in the attic you can't leave and just die) then goes to cam 3. The problem is that if she laughs you better pray to god that she has no pupils because if she does GAME OVER since she goes to cam 2 and instead of going back to cam 3 she goes to cam 4 (one move away from killing you). This is most likely why they took it down (besides game-breaking bugs) since she needs to go to cam 1 so it creates the same results as if she never laughed .
Yeah I remembered them saying something about MickMick trapping you in the office. Either way, phase two of that fight needs a bit of tweaking heh.
As many good fan games there are..nothing beats Bonnie just straight up punching the damn camera 💀

The character that forms on the Notepad is named "Ortensia", the name may sound familiar if you played "Epic Mickey" on the Wii. She is one of the very first toons that Walt Disney made along side Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, before Mickey even existed.
Before ortensia there was Fanny Cottentail
so something i find really neat are the toons every single one of them feel like evolutions to old fnati characters in the first one while the old ones are "shades" in post-mortem and hourglass in the actual thing examples: pnm=willy disembodied= daisy acephalous= dippy impurity=pn minnie
oh also the fact that there are characters like pete and pluto are still there because they were never a part of hourglass
its also kinda like post-mortem is inside hourglass because only characters that were a part of him apear as shades

I love this game so much. It takes so much inspiration from Nightmare before Disney, and you can see references pretty much anywhere. I still wish we had a part in this series where Jake went to Mowgli's Palace like in the original Abandoned by Disney creepypasta, and him encountering Photo-Negative Mickey in the first game, but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.
Well... Mowgli's Palace doesn't actually exist in Discovery Island, which was previously known as Treasure Island. In fact, Mowgli's Palace doesn't exist... at all, anywhere. The island was to be a treasure hunt styled attraction, before becoming an exotic wildlife observation one. It didn't even have a resort, much less enough space to hold one.
It's absolutely incredible how far this series is gone! I love creepy stuff, but I promised I wouldn't TOUCH the game series as soon as I saw what happened when you sat at the title screen too long. Mad respect!!! So scary!!!

Post mortem is a cool idea but it's is wasted potential that you can only enter it from dying post mortem as it's own game mode would've made this insane game even more insane :)
Mortem means death, so it would make sense to add it after you died
Maybe, in the patch, they'll add post mortem as a another game mode, where you access it when you die, and you can access it in the main menu.

(cause I couldn't see the end of the title), then clicked on it, read the title, and all of those memories came back at once, lmfaoo. Great video as always King!!

Dude, Disney sued a kinder garden for painting their characters on the walls of the building, there is also that of not letting the grave of a kid have a Spider-Man theme, the surprise to me is that someone thought it would be safe to invest all this time and work in this game, looks very good, is also surprising that is back and that the reason that was down was not Disney.

Explaining "YOUR BEST FRIEND" with little to no sense (I am quite literally lazy to actually explain while making sense): You may only stab it when a shade toon (Shade PNM or Shade Oswald) is in your office or in the entrances of the office, you must flash the hallways to prevent Shade Goofy from stealing it. If you stab it while no one is in your office, Shade Sadie will advance one stage, lowering the time you have to stay in Post-Mortem, you cannot make her disappear.
(Hopefully this doesn’t sound as weird as I think it does, because I have little idea how to explain it)

Heres a extra lore:Henry now better used scraps and junks to rebuilt himself and the notepad were actually written by him, in the true nightmare custom night ending, Henry is having a talk to Jake, he tells him the pain he has to go trough and all the things he saw like costumes, nightmares and inkblot, its now confirmed fangames are canon, he also tells how he hated that he goes missing/killed all over again like a cycle, it keeps going over and over until Jake broke the cycle by killing MOTHER/MickMick which set Jake and Henry free from the loop

Man some FNAF fan games are so good it makes me wonder why the creators don't just upload it to Steam and charge money for it. Like not this game specifically because, uh, duh. But clearly the developers are so good, just slap some new characters in there and you could easily charge 5 or 10 dollars on Steam and get the money they certainly deserve for their work
It would be difficult. Part of what makes this game so appealing are the awesome characters. What I'm curious about is whether these Disney distortions are different enough to be considered their own characters? Or like, protected under parody or something? It's definitely interesting!

That’d be copyright infringement. You can’t sell something built off another brand, they’d have to redesign everything about it, ruining what made it so interesting.

How has this game not been copyright stricken by disney?
It's free, and it's only available on Gamejolt which is y'know... a scrappy indie game site. Disney's lawyers cost a lot and they have better things to do than go after a niche fangame made by a bunch of kids who didn't make any money from it anyway and have nothing to take. They'd rather go after people who like, make websites that allow people to watch Disney+ content and such. Things that impact their bottom line.
With all things in life, one must ensure that the juice is truly worth the squeeze. It isn't always.
This game is horrifyingly beautiful

Kool FNaTI facts:
1) The body parts in the characters comes from Henry, Greg, and Lisa
2) The characters aren't suits (Except Undying but he's also a corpse). They are toons
3) How Hourglass speaks human is that Disembodied had Henry's vocal chords and since he combined into Hourglass it starts to make sense from there.
4) Henry is most likely Undying
5) The characters in the Post Mortem are called "Shades". The shadow characters in your office (Except Mother) in FNaTI 2020 are shades as well.
6) Mother isn't the one who created the toons...

I feel like the idea of an entity being the entire area you're in is truly terrifying. "the air you breathe is me" scares me very very deeply.
And with the end of it all, for the end of Jake’s troubles on treasure island, in that cabin, and the tunnels beneath it, both of his threats were set ablaze. Free from them physically, but mentally… he would never be the same.
honestly I wouldnt be suprised if you had podcast, but if you did I'm sure tons of people would love to listen to it because from how you describe things so very well, and it if really fun to listen to while you could be doing something else
You forgot to mention the cool creepypasta challenges you can do after finishing the game. In these challenges you must face off against classic creepypasta characters in different parts of the game. Jeff the killer in the post mortem section, slenderman in the tunnels, smile dog in the cabin, then eyeless jack in the tunnels again. You beat these challenges to get more custom night characters. I really like that radiance put these challenges in the game because they wanted to celebrate treasure island's origins and I think most of the mini games are fun except for jacks one because the audio is too low and it makes it hard to tell where he is.

Honestly this got to be one of the scariest fnaf fan game ever made possibly even better than the original five nights at freddy's series. Also for Pete maybe they can add some music that is similar to the face but not coute the same cus that would be much better.

Radiance planing on remaster of FNATI and Oblitus Casa(2.0).And thank to world that they will remove tunnels and insert another mini-game. Tunnels like broken.
If you don't turn on the lighter, the hourglass won't be able to scare you(he cant appear until you gonna turn on lighter).Then just turn up the sound and listen to the bell (from which door you will hear there and go (it may not appear immediately).And you passed it.3 minute and less.
I had no clue this existed, but once the patch comes out, I _WILL_ play this game.

Anyway, my most-popular videos are FNAF VHS. If you want exclusively-fangame stuff, just watch Plaintrace; he's great, but a game like _Oblitus Casa_ doesn't come around that often and I can't make videos like this about every run-of-the-mill FNAF fangame.

As a person forced to learn Latin by my school, Oblitus Casa means "Forgotten House", and is pronounced "Ah-bli-tus", not OH, but I could be being stupid and wrong in that pronunciation
Turns out, Treasure Island, or Discovery Island, is actually a real life location! Deep in the island, lies an abandoned resort. The fnati series is a combination of fnaf and the creepypasta itself, Abandoned by Disney.

I find it strange that the face is somehow back, considering the FNATI remake ended with him becoming part of Hourglass. Especially with that flashing Mickey head, the return of mother, and what seems to be hourglass in the ending. Or Donald being back. Anyone else confused?
Hourglass is made up by all the toons in Fnati 2020 except for Disembodied, the face and undying. Jake kills Hourglass in Night 4 tunnels cutscene. Wich kills all the Fnati 2020 toons. In night 5 Jake Burns down the cabin and he apparently escapes somehow Killing Mother/mickmick and the Oblitus Casa toons inside the cabin. Althouge theres a 3rd cutscene in the extras menu wich is locked. It might unlock after beating true nightmare in the costumize night

Dude legit was calling the lighter a flashlight. That was a lighter, my guy. Not a flashlight. And, you can actually complete the vents section WITHOUT using the lighter. Thanks to Super Horror Bro, or Mike, you just uave to spin around until you hear the bell and keep going... WITHOUT turning on the lighter.

Here's a way to beat the vents easier, try to find a corner of the vents. You'll know when ur their when two of the vents are blocked off. Then use process of elimination by going down one row and then going to the next row once u reach the end.

For the mother cutscenes I can just imagine the line "everywhere the light touches is our kingdom." Just suddenly playing.
Fun fact about security breach. If you look up the dev interviews and their responces on how the game was developed? it explains a LOT. The biggest of which being, that THEY didn't know what the hell was going on in the story, cause Scott didn't acutally tell them what the plot even WAS. Just what to put into the game, without explaining it. Cause that's just how he does FNAF games. Obivously that works ok when he's doing them solo and on smaller scale games. But he was working to make a big, open world, exploration game and with a studio. And that lead to so many problems the game wound up having. Relying on vaugeness and hints to tell your story can be a huge problem.
And Security Breach proved that. Espically given how the game was gutted from it's original much darker and bloodier premise due to Scott's well...Everything.
And Sadly, most indie horror games saw this and thought 'Oh hey we can do that to and get the same results!' ANd thus we got hello Neighbor and others.

@@michaelbrister6856 Actually yes. Look up the steelwool interviews on youtube. Specfically search out the one that they speak on Afton's room in. In that one they outrigth say they have no idea why it's in the game or what it means. They just put in cause Scott told them to but didn't explain WHY. And that he had a habit of doing that for most of the game's development.
