Mate, that ending scene where you park up and dive into the river......genius! 😂 Lush bike and very, very cool project. The old sentiment of doing things because YOU want to and not to please anyone else is so true. It was great to see you at Combe the other weekend too dude.
I agree that this 350 engine is perfect for chugging about, and for a trials or trail bike. I prefer it to the Himalayan and with mods like, or similar to what you’ve done, it would be spot on. 👌🏼
Fabulous, remember the first video, I did think "Why?" this video answers any questions, looks great and a hoot to ride. Rather than "Why" better is "Why not!"
Got to be the most feel good video on TH-cam chap! I really hope RE get this and run with it , there’s a lot of people ( myself included) who would love to buy something like this. I’d love to do what you do but I’d be minus a limb and end up selling it for parts ! Brilliant job, motorcycles are meant for people to ride and enjoy not polish and worry about their mileage.
Brilliant!!! If Royal Enfield had produced your scrambler, I'd have bought it ........... I bought a Hunter which I really like but wish they did a scrambler like yours 👍
As you said ....it's your bike ,do what you want with it !!!!😁. Maybe enfield will do exactly the same as what you have done 👍 Excellent build my old mate .👍 Peace out ✌️
Looks great, I'm sure there's lots of people that this will appeal to. Interesting question for me is how much does it weigh? The Himalayan is slightly too heavy for most people to lift up when green laning. This could be perfect.
That's superb and unique looks like a lot of fun and very useful...as to the Himalayan they are completely different bikes the meteor is much more for technical fooling about and would make a useful long distance trial bike
Loved the 350 Enfield build, but I really wish you’d show us (in photo montage if no film available) how you built your wife’s Honda 125 LDT bike. Please. Please… Les in UK
That looks fckin mint mate! Love it. I kinda fancy getting one of these bikes, I love the classic look, but the weight, in standard trim, is a deal breaker for an old git like myself.
Hola como estas felicidades por tu proyecto, te puedo preguntar si has tenido problemas por sobrecalentamiento del motor andando a bajas velocidades o al exigir mucho el motor en off - road , saludos desde Chile
good to see enfield still being in popular kids. Would it be possible to point me to the right direction where I can look at to start modifying my RE classic 500. the engine is dead now so I feel this is the right opportunity to custom build it completely as my own.
Hi, that bike looks really good, as for someone asking why you took the time and effort to modify it, My response would be why not, after all it's your bike, I don't like the look of the Meteor myself, but your conversion into a trials bike looks REALLY good.👍
@@clangerbasherThe Trials model based on the previous 350 and 500 did not sell well. They had so many unsold units that they turned them into mobile service vehicles. They equipped them with hard panniers filled with tools and parts for providing doorstep servicing of customer bikes. I think RE might be a bit hesitant to try that again.
@@clangerbasher Yeah, I'd like to see it too. This new engine really is quite nice. On a side note, the Hunter 350 has an entry level variant that is only sold in India. It is a lot more basic, has a drum brake on the rear, comes with 17" wire spoke wheels and is about 15 percent cheaper. It is also lighter than the regular Hunter at 177 kg wet vs 181 kg. Considering the weight and the wheels, that bike would be a great base for a trials conversion. It would indeed be nice if RE did something like that.
Sorry dude but Royal Enfields are trash. No one needed an answer to the question "I'd like to buy a 'British' bike, but even less reliable than Triumph, what do I do?"
Absolutely beautiful. That is how a trials bike is supposed to look proper old school
Looks like a proper old school Trail bike 👍🏻
....trials bike.

That's the best ending I have seen on a You Tube vid for a long time...............

Reminds of the old “ Kick start”
Series bikes… has a nostalgia to what you have made!
Brilliant
The 350 engine is amazing. Such a plucky engine with lots of torque 👍
Royal Enfield please take note…..😊 Good job Bike World 👍
Exactly! build what you want, spend what you want. It's yours! As long as you're having fun. :D
Was good to have you along on the MCC trials, Chris.
Brilliant!!! If Royal Enfield had produced your scrambler, I'd have bought it ........... I bought a Hunter which I really like but wish they did a scrambler like yours 👍
A real nod to the past, perfect l. You should be really proud of this its whats missing in the market!
That's a fantastic job...well done. I'd love Hitchcock's to build a trials conversion kit fir the Classic 350, like they did with the old bullet.
Smart. Came out a lot better than I expected. And a great ending to the video
As you said ....it's your bike ,do what you want with it !!!!😁.

Excellent build my old mate .👍
Peace out ✌️
Congratulations. That's a great little bike Chris! 🍻
Chris is EFFING GENIUS !
Nice one Chris. What better way to end than floating downstream..
It think you could sell them or a steady stream of people having theirs converted . Superb!!!!!
I followed the build videos of this bike and I love it! Please do a longer video of this bike doing some classic trials riding.
3:44 with helmet and boots..I would dive to the riverbed like a stone
Yes. This is the adventure.
Fantastic looking bike!😎
Bike was fantastic on this years Fred Rist trial 😎😎
Didn’t know you were into wild swimming Chris!! 😆
Bloody lovely, that.
We need a full ride & review!
Really nice job! Looks great as well!
Just stumbled on this! Your a genius. Well done it’s looks and sounds awesome 👏 I’ve now got to start looking for the earlier bits 😂
That's just superb. Love the transformation.

Great project and great video as per usual. And the correct pronunciation of Himalayan 👌🏻
Thanks, he's actually pronouncing it right.
@@BikeWorldTVshowas an Indian, I approve! First Englishman I've heard pronounce it right. Fair play

Looks awesome. Strong work
Its brilliant, it's special whichmakes it desirable. Im up for tryingit and Ive never realy threw spanners around
Royal Enfield! I BEG YOU! Take note of this Video and make a 125 or 250cc version! I WILL BUY ONE!!!
Needs to do a long distance trial, with a few videos.
If chris is in it, I'm watching.
Yea looks nice ❤ cheers from Oz🇦🇺
I liked that KTM 950 you did. Wish you would do something with it. Race it at a rally.
Sick video mate!
Great work 👍
Can buy scram 411
WOW AWESOME INCREDIBLE SUPERB TOP
Wow, Love it.
awesome

Nice. I'm having fun on a 2-stroke KTM Supermoto - why don't you grab an old 2T 70's / 80's crosser and make it go slideways at the track. Silliness.
Ya raj but class 👍🏻😮
Cheers from Cumbria mark 🇬🇧🍺👍🏻
As someone who owns a Royal Enfield Continental GT650, I would love to see you guys turn the GT into a proper race bike/track bike.
Strange you should say that! 🤫

👍 nice job and great bike, but why not choosing the Classic to start? You will have had the spoke rim rear and less further footrest.
Excellent project. Now with a Hunter perhaps...
Neato!
👍👍👍👍👍

Maybe you can do something completely different with the . . . . FTR1200 😁😁
❤Need this😍
This was absolutely inspirational! Could an SV650 be turned into a trials bike with 21/18 wheels on it? Oh, and how much did you reduce the weight?
Looks better than a himmi tho
So, what did you get the weight down to?
Hi there, are there any update's? Cheers!
Sir, are the alterations permitted by Road transport department now?
Fun if maybe a bit pointless...but that's fun for ya
❤
Surely the gearing would have been changed?
Doesn't the modified exhaust burn your thigh??
What happened to the white ktm 1190?
I love it, I want one.....sell me your bike 😈
Is Chris still out there floating in the stream?
What happened with the sidecar?
C👀L BIKE
🤙 😎
It's a *lot* better than a Himalayan
Assuming you ride for fun why worry about what "makes sense"?
I am surprised RE don't make one.
They did. Until recently. 500 Classic Trials.

Nice looking bike, great job, I’m thinking of getting a RE 500 trials replica maybe I’ll pull the trigger soon. 👍
Kind of wanted to see it with the side car. 😢
That would have been fun too!
Why shouldn't Royal Enfield Himalayan???
splash.
Royal Enfield. Are you watching this channel?
Anyone on a carnivore diet should ride a Meatier.
Say Himalayan again ....
He said it right
Perfect Pronunciation of Himalayan is exactly that. As an Indian, I can attest

For your next project, how about a turbocharged Hayabusa motorcross bike? 😂
