Brigandy is probably the next most broken unit in MD after Neo Granzon. Max it out and even bosses will struggle hitting you. Also, those post-movement ALL and MAP attacks are just too good.
1:15 I absolutely love the Blasted Shoot. Yes, it's the second simplest attack animation of the mecha, but you can feel all the rage and power of that single giant waterfall of Orgone Energy, and the way the Brigandi gets in position and lowers its arms to aim has a great weight. *I love it*
according to you, it may be the weakest unit and its animations lack power and its design make it show that it can break at any time it could be said, but I love it when small units, with a weak design and animations that leave for wanting more power, they can get to beat the super robots almost or as close, as saying the little ones we can pater the bad guys and be incredible with hard effort (I also like real robots for that reason).
I really like the way they implemented both Touya and Her Angriness into the game. Just wish there was an unlockable optional Vorlent, outclassed I know, but best grunt.
It's kinda silly in J, it's a basic grunt unit and its moveset shows it, but the thing is bulkier than your supers for a good while and all of its attacks are either free or cost almost nothing.

Really?!” Calvina: “yeah the left and right sticks control my movement and orientation, the LB and RB are linked to the homing lasers, (takes two minutes to explain the button layout) so…can’t fit it.” Tenia: “….oh guess that’s a me thing huh?”
I like how he shows all the 3 subpilots in the last final moves. I remember in Super Robot Wars J when you can select among the three subpilots. Tenia being the average cheerful type, Melua being the shy one and Katia being the strong personality one. I always liked Melua. Can Touya use Bellzelute in this game? Or is he fixed with the Super Robot looking one?
He fixed on granteed Dracoeus and that thing have the same op-ness as brigandy but not in dmg... Granteed D is almost unkillable its very tanky attack also hurt but doenst have ridiculous attack range like brigandy
Melua can't extract the full power of the mecha but her final attacks are the most heroic for both granteed dracodeus and bellzelute, if I got the choice tho, you know it would always be coustwell brachium and tenia, Shadow clones, ki blasts in the form of punches, martial arts your way throught your enemies, and all of that combined if you chose tenia. At least in the gba game
Currently playing this game this year of 2023 (2nd playthrough). Is it me or Brigandi's final attack resembles the mech docking with a grocery/shopping cart? 😅
cause he had granted and Calvina was the test pilot to the unit prior to this one so its just her mech got upgraded plus toya is more of a melee than range stats wise so I dont think this unit will be that much of use to him unless you grind his stats to make his range stats better

@@Kindi001 lol literally I pick Granteed almost all the time with either Calvina or Touya. The Granteed is just so much better than Bellzelute as it's bulkier and hits harder. It even has ranged attacks that are stronger than the Bellzelute's. Although the Bellzelute always looked better for me.
You never know. If they really put their brains to it they can find a way to make a QTE bonus system work in a balanced way though I admit that it can make things considerably more drawn out. I imagine a slightly modified version of the system used in the Zone of the Enders the fist of mars Tactical RPG for the GBA.
the way i look at the mech, its reminds of of a little game called macross for the NES. the game was a shmup, and you collect parts to make your jet take more damage. you collect the head, the feet and a docking bazooka that changes depending on where you are. the game has two kind of maps, horizontal shooter(like gradius) and a weird isometric 3d thing. when in the 3d map, the buster cannon shoots a stream of laser like your peeing. and when on the shmup section, it shoots large fireballs.
They're the same. The only difference is that the J one is more super deformed (SD). But recently, Banpresto has been trying to keep the designs closer to the artist's original intentions, so it looks like this now. You can see it pretty much everything. Just look at how some units looked in older games and now look at them in newer games.
Also this is not a Mobile Suit. And it's not even something from the Gundam Franchise. It's an Original Mecha created by Banpresto, one of the 4 selectable as protagonists mech from SRW J. Lastly, the more friends you get in your cockpit, the stronger your Mecha becomes. It's Giant Robot Common Sense.
Well, I don't really have anything to say then if you think they are which obviously they aren't as the animations were literally rehashed from the PS2-PS3 games.

Well, if you are under a Beam Spam or a Missile Massacre and you are hit from everywhere, I doubt you can move or escape.

Ah, the Brigandy. Such an awesome unit. In J, this and the Raftclans took on the final boss in a 2v1 fight. He couldn't lay a finger on them.
btw this is the first time I watched non-crossover SRW game So this is feel like a Fantasy world with future age setting

Great mech, my favorite from J. Everythings look so good except..that first attack, would rather it did a bit more pews.

Usually i play SRW without the means of having favoritism affect my gameplay. it add's a very senseful way on achieving the word accomplishment.

QTE would be broken. Code Kirin would overpower every other attack and Neo Granzon will become a joke fodder because his final attack only hits once.
