Something similar happened to me. Except it wasn't a game glitch really it was an actual earthquake. I was playing when a genuine earthquake happened. It was weird.
This happened to me when I was fighting the Mantis Lords but died at the last one. It turns out that the game decided I died enough and let me win lmao

The reason this happened is that instead of the nailsmith wandering into the paintmaster's house, it somehow got lost and went into the flukemommy room, what happened next is shocking (or quaking)
I had already discovered this bug leaving the fight at the beginning of it with the dream portal
It actually happens a lot in this game. I have had it happen to me after I've died on the boss, but technically got enough hits in to kill it. Funny how everytime I come back though I still have to beat it again.

This happened to me when I fought the mantis lords and died while the deepnest door was opening. There was an earthquake and the left side of my controller stopped working. Leaving and re-entering the room fixed it though.

I have had that glitch happen to me before, I just don’t know how to activate it and I also never beat her on radiant when it was there
@@HalberCon I believe you activate it by dying right as the boss summons the sword ring, there's a chance one will glitch out and appear fixed in a random place as you begin your next attempt. It's not guaranteed though
