Honda GX390 Electric Start Retrofit Tips and Wiring Information

In this video, I’ll give you a couple tips as far as the mechanical installation of the Honda GX390 electric start kit, but more importantly how to wire the control module to your engine. There are other videos out there that go through the mechanical installation process, so I’m not going to repeat that here. I will say that some installation videos have your remove the air filter and carburetor. I did not find this to be necessary. The kit that I got did not have any instructions at all. Hopefully this will help you out if you have questions about how to connect up the wiring once the mechanical installation is complete. Thanks for watching.
