The nerf didn't change anything except those who were saved often by the passive shield proc. The damage is still the same and if you have the skill you be playing like before nerf.
Does this only work with daggers as main hand? I find it difficult to build up thunderstacks to 20 even with high attack speed what’s the secret here to utilize the damage from thunder bombing in PvP?
it is because j0ei is a cheater, look at his decisive bombardment skill how it smoothly follows the target, he also probably uses some kind of speed hack
It's in game setting you can have all aiming skill auto aim your current target. Problem is if that target runs to the left and you wanna shoot middle where say everyone is you gotta retarget someone in middle. It can be annoying just preference in his case small fight and arena it's OK to set it like that.

No need to stack much Dex status, but you can have it if you stack Added AS
