Not a drop of sugar or honey, no aluminum foil, no sauce or glaze, no competition BBQ, no pellet grill, just straight up kick ass ribs on a grill anyone can afford. Best Rib video I have seen. AWESOME JOB!
Nothing beats that old school know-how and technique!! A straight pleasure to watch someone that knows the basics and will teach so many the proper way to become a master.. 👍✊👍✊👍
Great info for a backyard BBQ newbie. As my fans tell me, you make it look so easy!!! If you're ever in the Austin area, please let me know! I'd love to have you over to chill out brother and maybe shoot some footage together! Cheers!
Nice job pop that's a good look, soak your wood chips in water overnight, when it's time to place them try putting them a little lower on the coals remember wet wood won't burn as fast it will smoke twice as long as dry. Also try putting large binder clips-3 around the lid to lock in smoke and control heat better wet wood trust your boy cuz.
I really enjoyed that thank you. I haven't been able to walk for 2 years due to medical issues but now I can finally. My first goal is to get back out there on the deck, fire my Weber up ant make some ribs!
My dad was the bbq king of the family. He had cancer that spread to his spinal cord. He was unable to walk, but he was determined to cook ribs for us one last time, so he did it while sitting in his wheelchair. I'm so glad you are doing better and pray that you will be able to grill again.
Heck Yeah, my first time making ribs snd I’m following your cooking advice. Seasonings are different but setup wise I tried my best to mimick it without the fire tray
Excellent job my man just got me a brand new Weber Grill right now it’s raining on memorial day weekend and it’s really pissing me off because I found your video and I want to tear This recipe up thank you please pray for me that the rain will stop because I’m ready dog LOL God bless stay safe and take care
Just came across your video and i enjoyed it. Im going to try my hand in BBQ some pork ribs soon. Im going to be a newbie on a BBQ pit, how long do i need to cook pork ribs on a grill? And do you have a video BBQ chicken on a grill?
Can you do a video showing how to prep and season for a competition please as I am interested in learning g how to do competition ribs, briskets , whole hog/pig, chicken pull pork smoking and grilling. Thanks for your help.
Try your favorite seasoning salt and mix it with some coconut sugar. The sugar won’t burn fast but will add an awesome color to the ribs. You can find the sugar at any grocer.
Dang, really educational Eric. Nice looking food there. Question if you don’t mind. Do you find when wrapping with the usual ingredients do you find it washes the smoke flavor out? It was fun seeing you on tv in bbq pit wars.
Yes, I agree that wrapping with foil tends to steam away alot of the smoke. I'm a big fan of wrapping with butcher paper now. You maintain that smoke flavor. Thanks for watching!
Man I see all these guys smoking , grilling and making BBQ with their charcoal grills out on their wood decks. I would be scared to death I would look out the patio door and see my deck on fire. But on the other hand those ribs look damn good.
Thanks for the great info, brother. im a first-time smoker lol 😂 and i need al the tips i can get. I've been looking at your videos for about 3 days, and im finally confident enough to try it out this week. 🫡🫡 keep at it with the great videos i, and im sure everyone watching really apriciates it

Thanks for the tips. What was the name of the 50/50 seasoning that you used im going to try your tips tomorrow.
Try your favorite seasoning salt and mix it with some coconut sugar. The sugar won’t burn fast but will add an awesome color to the ribs. You can find the sugar at any grocer.
Bruh E nice smoke ring and they look like they was very tender and delicious

This is exactly what I was wondering too

what size grill is he using, 18 in, or 22 in?
22
I love you man!
Nice technic
Thanks
What was your grill temperature
Man I see all these guys smoking , grilling and making BBQ with their charcoal grills out on their wood decks. I would be scared to death I would look out the patio door and see my deck on fire. But on the other hand those ribs look damn good.
How much is a rack of ribs that size in America?, I'm in Brisbane, we pay around 20-28 Australian dollars per kg.
About $13 a slab at Walmart. Cheaper if you buy them in Bulk.
Goodmorning did you have the bottom vents wide open also?
Yes Bottom vents were wide open. I controlled the heat flow with the top vent.
Ok thanks good video
Also I never seen you close top vents is that needed or both open the whole time ?
👍✌
Men aren't the only ones who grill...
Easier to cut if you turn them over. But I’m sure you already know that lol
What time is dinner?
What size weber grill is that??
I believe a 28 inch grill
@@TheRollingGrill can you put 2 slabs on there
Then look way good
Sve ok ali treba rukavice stavit.
Kod kuće sam, ne trebaju mi rukavice. Hvala na gledanju!
I never flip
Low n slow 🐌
