Excellent! I’m a 63 year old long time rocker. The Linda Lindas along with The Beths give me hope that the future of rock and roll is here and in good hands.
Nepo plants opening for sellouts..... Seems about right for modern "punk". I'm sure it has nothing to do with Carlos de la Garza being the father of two of them.
I'm a 66 year young, old KROQer that used to go to the Acoustic Christmas and Weenie Roast shows mainly to see the headliners. Saw many opening acts that went on to make it big. I just won tix last night on KROQ for the show this Saturday at the Forum. Now I'm going mainly to see the opening act that has already made it big! The Linda Lindas. Hearing them now is just like back in 77 when I heard bands like The Clash and X bringing a new energy to the music scene. I felt re-energized and swept away. That's exactly how I felt when I first heard these amazing young ladies! The kids are definitely alright! 👍
My brother handed me his tickets to the show in Minneapolis and in preparation and I am not disappointed. They are a great opener to the show and they deserve more success to come.
"The doctors know that I have money to spend". That is such a gut punch of a line in the best way possible. I relate to this one way too much. An amazing song! I can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
This band is helping keep rock and roll alive. I really liked their debut, I think they will be headlining festivals/stadiums before long. I'm really looking forward to the new album, this song is another banger!
Old guy, dealing with post-stroke depression. This popped up on a music channel feed. The line "I'm getting better because that's what I'm supposed to do" really speaks to me. It's on my "anti depression playlist" now. It makes me glad that the kids are still making good rock music.
I absolutely adore this song, it speaks to me on a deeply personal level as I've struggled with depression and bed rotting for years now and it makes me happy to see others my age talking about it. Super excited for the album!! ❤
Like many others have commented, I was introduced to this group last night opening for Green Day! Was STUNNED at what a great performance they put on! 100% deserving to be on that stage!
god, I admire you guys so much. as a teenager hoping to have a career in music and music production, you guys make me feel like I can do it. the future of rock and roll is truly safe in your hands.
You just need to have your daddy become a major producer for a bunch of different major bands to give you a in and a label to viral market you with fake engagement farms. (Hate to break the illusion but they are plants, the garage punk scene was able to spot that a mile away when they seen Carlos de la Garza's name attached to it)
First saw these young ladies on the Green Day tour......now I'm addicted to their new album........excellent music.......as I was watching them at the show I kept thinking their parents must be so proud of them......not a bad resume for these amazing girls!
Bro… I just watched yall live yesterday and oh my lord. It was a literal awakening. I can’t believe that yall are my age and are touring with Green Day?!?! I literally love yall so much.
We took our 13 year old to his first Concert in Chicago, at Wrigley Field to see Green Day - and there you all were. Power Rocking the Stage liked you owned it. Orion was in awe as you rocked out (so were we). You definitely made 3 new fans (this includes my partner). What a fun experience that was. Thank you.
My name has been Linda for nearly 6 decades, and I approve this ridiculously accurate message. Expounding, I subscribe to the Daily Show, saw "The Linda Lindas" and my narcissistic inner voice said, hey, what's that. My inner voice is not always my best friend, but this time she was spot on. This Linda loves The Linda Lindas
Wow, this is an absolute gem. This band is killing it. Years ago I was stuck in a toxic restaurant job. Surrounded by addiction and drama, working hours that destroyed my sleep schedule, hobbies and social life. I was so depressed I’d sometimes sleep for 25 hours in a row on my days off. I’ve unpacked a lot of that time in therapy lately and wow, this song sure does capture the feeling of bedrot and being afraid to be happy, clinging onto depression and toxic relationships like a reliable, comfortable sweater I will say, it’s still so upbeat and self aware, it makes me so happy to hear that I’m not the only person who’s been through times like that. This song is special, this band is gold.
70 in a few weeks. Still always seeking the good stuff out. And still finding it. Like here. Music keeps me young. Need to get my saved lunch money and go and purchase this song. Love Power Pop! Say no to Auto Tune!
i have heard of them but never really went out of my way to listen to them. i heard them at the greenday concert last night and man d i regret not listening to them! they are really good!
Being homeless, living in my van with noone to talk to causes much loneliness. Suffering from bipolar disorder, i feel noone understands the pain i'm going through. I relate to this song on so many levels, it is now my favorite song ever.
maybe i'm feeling a lil emo at the moment but i'm finding my old ass really relating to this song written by teenagers. very cool to see these guys growing as songwriters and musicians!
Ahora que estoy pasando por un momento regular agradezco mucho que hayáis hecho esta canción, no solo por las vibraciones que transmite, sino por la letra, que también es increíble y me ha ayudado....
Seen them in Seattle at the saviors tour. Was super impressed with these ladies. Honestly some of thwir songs were my fav non green day songs of the night.
@@sarahwisniewski6722 you should check out some of their other stuff as well if you liked this, they don't have that many songs out so it doesn't take long to listen to their whole catalogue
I’ve loved your guys band for AGES! Growing Up was awesome and I can’t wait until you release no obligation!!! You’ve been my favourite band for about a year now and I’m sure you will be for a VERy long time! It’s so great to be growing up as a teenager and being able to listen to your relatable and angst songs!
i love how they just keep getting better and better at their music. how they really go with the feeling and what they want to do. it's fun but at the same time it's not empty, and i love how they show they process on growing up and having their own styles. awesome!
I saw them last week here in Denver where they opened up for Smashing Pumpkins and Green Day. They rock!!!! Love a girl band who can rock out and they delivered live just like Smashing Pumpkins and Green Day did! Would love to see them blow up big time.
My god, this song took me back when I was young and going through some stuff. The lyrics are so relatable. I reflected and cried and felt better. Thank you.
Seen them live last night on the saviors tour..... absolutely amazing and totally bright me here ....this song went soooooo hard and that girl sings her heart out
She always is. They come to the Mosswood Meltdown Festival in Oakland each year after they played two years ago and just enjoy the music. They're doing it right!
I watched the video once and thought, oh pretty catchy song. Then I re-watched it w/ the lyrics on and realized how powerful the words were. Deeper than 98% of what is out there right now. I was lucky to score tix to the Berkeley show in Sept and can't wait!
Saw them live last night. I can't believe how good they are, especially knowing how young they are
Was there too and their energy was throught the roof!
Saw them last night and loved their energy
I saw them last night in PA, loved them.
saw them last night in Detroit. They sounded like seasoned rockers.. loved it!
Just seen them in Seattle on Monday. Very impressed.
Excellent! I’m a 63 year old long time rocker. The Linda Lindas along with The Beths give me hope that the future of rock and roll is here and in good hands.

Saw them at the Green Day concert as well was breath taking haha
Same here in San Diego and moshed with them during Rancid. I hadn't listened to them before but bought some merch on the way out.
Sellouts backing Nepo babies..... Yep totally on par for "punk" nowadays.

I’m here cuz saw them last night same tour.
My brother handed me his tickets to the show in Minneapolis and in preparation and I am not disappointed. They are a great opener to the show and they deserve more success to come.

This band is helping keep rock and roll alive. I really liked their debut, I think they will be headlining festivals/stadiums before long. I'm really looking forward to the new album, this song is another banger!
I'm seeing them in September at Oracle Park, I might even stick around for Green Day later in the evening even though it's past my bedtime.
They put on a great show last night, imo they are better live, and that just makes it so much more fun
They opened for Green Day in Minneapolis, Minnesota! I just had to stop in & take a listen. 😂

Hope you are talking about the savors tore (idk how to spell it) I went to the one in Denver but I do not live there
The chorus goes to a heaven level.

I almost Laughed at how Young They Look, but They're REALLY GOOD. That Girl has a GREAT Voice.❤
They are aged 14-18, they not only look young 😅
her name is Lucia de la Garza

This is the type of sound I find myself enjoying these days.
Same here my friend! I'm getting older and yeah, I still love my heavier stuff but, this is nice to hear more & more! ~ Scott 🤘🏼💙

I saw them at the Green Day show at Fenway Park. They were awesome!
I made a linda lindas fanclub, even though it only has 4 members counting me, I'm still proud
Bro. The green day vibes are so good. I'm so happy a new generation has discovered good (old) green day.
The Linda Lindas are great, they have grown so much!

Perfect song for this summer! I'm listening to this song endlessly when reading books in the public library these days 📚

I actually cheered when I heard this song come on the radio. I've never loved a band so much and I'm so happy for you girls!
This came up randomly for me. Clicked on it out of curiosity. I absolutely love it.

This is just a really good pop song about a really important subject - we need each other. More power to you. Please stay together and keep writing!
Nice , love the sound guys...A nod to the previous post , also a 60 yr old rocker seeing great things for the future of rock...
I am amazed that this song addresses exactly how I feel... but I am old. I am so pleased right now. 🥰
Pretty rare that new music, especially from people so young, impresses me. Y'all are rad.
So excited for the new album! Can’t wait to play together again this summer 🧋
Lyrically this is so healing for me...and yea I'm getting better too. Love this. Thanks

Saw them on the Green Day tour and they were amazing. Great live! I am definitely a fan now.
Can't wait to hear the new album. Already pre-ordered my vinyl!
The sinking bed kinda reminds me of that ending scene from Nightmare On Elm Street. Cool 😎
My god, this song took me back when I was young and going through some stuff. The lyrics are so relatable. I reflected and cried and felt better. Thank you.
This reminds me of the good old 90s-2000s rock alternative era when music was fun.
Seen them live last night on the saviors tour..... absolutely amazing and totally bright me here ....this song went soooooo hard and that girl sings her heart out
To quote another band I like "the words I always needed like I wrote them on my own", thank you for giving voice to those thoughts I can't express.
Saw them live in Kansas earlier this week, and the were amazing! Nice to know there's music like this still being made.
Power Pop. Reminds me of music from the Pop Llama label from the late '80s. Loved it.
Can't wait to see you perform. I will dance. Rock on, Linda's!
These kids are so damn talented. This song is so good. It so catchy and keeps repeating in my head...a true great song!
They’re still rocking! I’ll be waiting this new record 🖤
Just come across this song from a band I don't really listen to... And boy, it's amazing. Love at first listen. You rock!
Eloise always looks like she’s having the best time ever.
Having seen them live, I can confirm this is 100% true. I don't think I've ever seen someone so excited to open for and then listen to another artist.
She always is. They come to the Mosswood Meltdown Festival in Oakland each year after they played two years ago and just enjoy the music. They're doing it right!
What an incredibly great song! I love everything about it!
Tengo 200 años y puedo decir que he visto a todas las bandas de punk del mundo y estas chicas son las mejores
