Honestly it doesn’t even feel very pop. It’s pretty spot on. Like the timbre of it all, the way the Melodie’s go n everything feels real deal. Not that there’s anything wrong with Pop punk and maybe I just don’t know where the boundary line is but they go pretty hard
No S***! These girls really are something. I'm 66 and totally dig it. Some Ramones influence. Good pop hooks. They have a great future. But they need to finish high school!

Wow. I heard about this band, I didn't realize they were teenagers. Really impressive power-pop-punk! I hope the drummer doesn't drop out of school at age 14! She's great but finish school too ladies! I am a FAN!

I rock my LL's hoodie constantly. Can't wait til they get back to the Bay Area, now, that I am not terrified about COVID (though it is still a thing). LOL!

This is the first time hearing them and I'm immediately hooked. I checked out all their stuff on Amazon Music, and their earliest songs were from 2020, which, according to the time of this vid, would make the drummer 9 yrs old, the bass player 12, the guitar player 13, and the other guitar player 15. Gawd, can that be right? Even their earliest singles have a polish and intellectual maturity rarely found in even older bands. The closest all girl group that I can think of that started as early was the Donnas, whom I love, but even they weren't as mature. This is a great band. I hope they'll last, because if they do and continue to grow they'll be the biggest band on the planet.
I've been playing since 78. 25 years of that in Nashville. Blues. Rock. Country. Played and wrote it All. They're better than I'll ever be or was. Thanks for giving them the stage. 😊😎🤘
Love this! Great sound production by KCRW. Adding this to my collection of Linda Lindas sessions. The Linda Lindas rekindled my love of rock, punk, and pop. It's been a long time since we've been able to watch a group discovering themselves and grow and change. But, the unique thing about The Linda Lindas is as young and small as the group is (4 piece), they sound HUGE. They fill the stage. Four vocalists who can sing lead, harmony, fill and backup on any song and four strong instrumentalists, with zero shyness who just GO for it... amazing. And always with joy. Love the way Mila just grins after every song! They are far more together than any other band of any age, and they LOVE the music. Which, by the way, they also love writing. I've got their EP, their LP, three of their tees. Definitely a serious fan, at 72. When was this recorded? Eloise was on crutches since July 11. Was hoping she was all healed up, but Mila said something about just finishing the school year, so was this end of June?
@@angiescarpa9429 Thanks. And thanks for putting it together. It's a great session! Anyone know how Eloise is doing? Hope she's off those crutches and back to her normal bouncy self soon!
Like Eloise, and probably a lot of bass players, we all got "stuck" with bass because it's either no one wants to play bass or all other instruments have been taken. But I totally agree with Eloise when she said that bass is an excellent instrument to get stuck with.
They opened for the Rolling Stones in L.A. They were great! And they are touring with Green Day. They are teenagers! I saw their album in the library about three years ago...
👍 Great live performance! It doesn't matter that the dad of 2 of the members is in the music industry. They mostly got where they are at now because they are very talented young musicians with very likeable personalities with a great background story. A lot people happen to like those things and qualities about them. They have a very supportive loving family and crew. That doesn't mean they got shortcuts and cheated their way into a career in music like some jealous haters on here and on the Epitaph records YT channel like to think. To all the jealous hateful trolls: Just because your rockstar fantasies didn't come true doesn't mean you have to hate on the Linda Lindas for being able to do what you couldn't do.
Been following them for over 2 years now. They're an honest-to-god self-organized organic garage band! And, they're NERDS! Super-nerdy about music, the scene, musical history (especially, but hardly limited to, punk). And they're FANS and will wax poetic about their idols and heros. Sure, they've grown up around the "scene" and their dad has a recording studio in the house, but that scene and their dad is pure Indie, not big label. And while they're super-tight as a group (the sisters' harmony is something, but so are all 4 of them in synergy) one look at their joyful bouncing on stage proves they're not carefully choreographed! And Joy is the word.. You can tell they love what they're doing. Check out Mila's grin after EVERY song!
music runs in families. lots of families share vocations and interests. I come from farmers, like 100 years of them. I suck at farming. I became a performer. A dad who is in the music industry didn't guarantee they would be in music. or have a talent for it. lack based thinking.
Love these Kids.Just as good as many of the Bands I saw back in the day on the Lower East Side.Except they're younger and better than a lot of them.Rooting hard for the LL's. Peace to All.
I really wonder what they sound like without all the audio processing, and how much of the playing is actually live. There have been amazing teen girl punk bands that actually play extremely well before; I just am not convinced that this is one of them.

When other girls are crazy about K-pop, these girls don't seem to care. And I'm grateful for that. Thank almighty punk God, Thank you Linda Lindas, for playing the music right
She's quite the natural wonder. She's comfortable, confident, and lyrical on the drums, and SHE SINGS LEAD on a bunch of songs. WHILE drumming. When she's not singing backup or harmony, and playing the drums like a pro. How is that even possible? Oh, and she writes songs, too. And she's TWELVE!
