I didn't really have a "favorite" member of 5SOS before I listened and fell in love with this album. Luke's writing, his voice.. I just love this album so much.

One of the best and most underrated albums of the last couple years. He is an incredible songwriter, musician and singer.

This album is one of my favorites ever. The lyrics are just genius and beautiful, but mixed with the rest of the elements it becomes a masterpiece. This album came out august 2021 and it has since been on my top listened music.

I think this will be a cult album that people will be able to go back to in 10, 20 years time and enjoy it just as much as now. I randomly listened to this album when it came out without having any idea who Luke or 5sos were and it just made such an impact on me because I related so much to a lot of the themes about time, depression and escapism, and the way that Luke turned those feelings into words. Also completely agree with Nathan's comparisons to Harry Styles. I love Harry, but I saw someone say that Luke could have easily written Fine Line or Harry's House but Harry couldn't have written WFTTWTAF and that rings so true for me.

Slip Away Is A Song You Just Listen To and When It Finishes You Just Sit Motionless Thinking of What Have To Just Listened. It's a Transfix

I only started becoming a huge 5sos fan this past year and i only started listening to Luke's album a month prior to 5sos5 being released and i couldn't believe how damn underrated this gem of an album is. Even without being a 5sos or luke fan, u can appreciate how incredible of an album it is- it's vulnerable, cohesive and just so beautiful to listen to and it has been on repeat for the past couple months for me. I definitely agree with the sentiment that Luke and taylor have very similar approach to songwriting in that they are willing to be so vulnerable in the name of songwriting and artistic integrity. It's is what makes me such a fan of these ppl u know. Anyways sry for the long message but loved your reactions, it's always cool to see the way u guys connect to the music of my fav artists on this channel. It's 1am on new years day here in India, so happy new year everyone, may u have a wonderful year ahead and here's to many many more beautiful sharing of music and reactions and fun in this brand new year. ❤️

This album is so many levels of incredible. So raw, so genuine, so thoughtful, so personal, so relatable, and so freaking beautiful. Luke clearly really pushed himself and grew both personally and as a songwriter through writing these songs. He said in the "Behind the album" interview that when he met Sammy they just organically started writing together and he hadn't even had plans to make an album, it just sort of made sense to record and release these songs for the fans once they'd written a bunch of these. Which is wild. He just did this on a whim and decided to release this project just for the hell of it. Wild. The sheer talent in this one person is insane! He's definitely up there with Harry and Taylor among the greatest artists/songwriters of the current generation, no question. The other in 5SOS who's equally artistic and prolific imo is Ashton - the man is insane on the drums, absolutely incredible songwriter, getting better all the time with guitar, and such a gorgeous voice and incredible range. Really love those 4 more than anyone else right now.

I didn't know that he was playing all the instruments, so I looked it up and it turns out that no, he is only playing piano, keyboard and guitar and their variants, which makes more sense 😂💜

I'm a 15 year old child. I'm a 1D, Taylor Swift, 5sos and Luke fan. This album made me cry without really relating and that doesn't happen to me often. I'm BROKEN when I hear those lyrics and production. This album deserves a trophy or even a grammy. I wish more people knew this masterpiece

For months now, I've felt dread. Like I know something's missing or about to happen. Listening to this album again, I realized I've avoided anything about it for months. And I realize why I was feeling dread. It was because I never got over depression. I've just been burying it under tons and tons of school works.

Now I'll say this and let people come for me, Harry is a better performer than Luke however Luke is a better lyricist and musician, harry even when he was young and when his mum talked about how he was as a kid she said that he always loved to be in front of people and loved to make them feel happy and overall loved to perform, while I feel like although Luke might enjoy the performing aspect his music feels more authentic and real overall if that makes sense ? And this is why I don't like comparing in general, cause you see they both excel at different levels but I understand why you would, comparing is something we use to understand things better

I completely agree. They each have their own strengths and they are both amazing, just at different parts of being a musician and performer.
