I bought the EU version of this sunscreen (Eucerin Sun Oil Control Gel-Cream Dry Touch SPF50+) and it’s SO much better! Literally HG and in the past, I really liked the Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel & Nivea Super Water Gel (both lightweight, non-greasy sunscreens), but I love this EU Eucerin sunscreen even more! It has new gen filters and is leagues better than the American counterpart which is limited in formulation, so maybe try the EU version. I’m super oily and it’s the only sunscreen that gives me a matte to natural finish and doesn’t have a greasy feel to it. ❤
It's been a while since I used the EU version but it didn't provide any sun protection for me. Also it's not waterproof. Weird how Eucerin of all people doesn't have a waterproof sunscreen.
This is the sunscreen I've been using for my oily, acne prone, sensitive skin and I've tried to make it work, but damn is it greasy. "Oil control" where?? I hate it, but maybe it's because I keep using a moisturizer underneath. The only pro is that it doesn't break me out at all. So I'll try it without a moisturizer to see how that goes before I get the Cotz one I ordered.
@@benenon it didn't.😂 Eucerin seems to specialize in products for dry, eczema prone skin. Thankfully, my cotz showed up three days ago and I don't have to deal with the cooking oil shine.
I use the Eucerin cream to gel oil control one. It’s my all time favorite SPF, especially because it fights against hyperpigmentation too. Thank you for this review!!
For me, this one burned my eyes after awhile. I have oily skin also, so I didn’t apply a moisturizer underneath. I don’t recommend it for use in the summer, but I will give it another try when it gets cooler to see how it works.
@@benenonit’s very similar to the oil control one. On me it’s a natural moisturizing finish which I don’t mind as someone that can get oily. It’s not heavy on my skin and no strong after smell.
The European formula is MUCH better and is my go to sunscreen. It's matte, helps to reduce facial shine throughout the day, has no white cast, spreads easily and has newer (less irritating) filters. I even find it far superior to Skin Aqua Super Moisture Gel, my previous go to sunscreen.
Hi, I also have oily acne and sensitive skin and I heard a lot about this sunscreen but I never wanted to try it because of the high amount of alcohol in it which ALWAYS breaks me out badly but on top of that if it's not even matifying.... what's the point... I am glad I never bought it. Thanks for the review.
Hi honestly it was one of the lost disappointing sunscreens I’ve ever used. So heavy I looked like a greased balloon😂 I couldn’t use it until cold winter. The eu version is sooo different and so good. Try the other one
@@benenon I don’t live neither in the US or the Uk. I order from European websites. Once from The cult beauty now I tried from Care to beauty- the order didn’t deliver and they try to send it again. Can’t recommend them for now 🥲

Thanks for sharing! Hope it works better for you in the winter.
I went with the non oil control one. I love it. It’s the chemical sunscreen I use when I’m not using a mineral sunscreen.
Good to know! I’ll add it to my list. Is it a dewy finish?

Thank you for this, I prefer water resistant because I have sensitive eyes and they burn my eyes
I regolarly use the EU version which is simply stunning. Hydrating yet not greasy. 👌 and 0 eye irritation 😊

Try Murad matte sunscreen
I purchased this but I couldn’t use it. It stings and burns my eyes terribly. Unfortunately I couldn’t even return it so I just use it for my hand.

Oh my, no! I have dry skin and this felt like sandpaper, I immediately sent it back! Way too matte for me
