- Just got the first one of these in. I haven’t received a bunch because I figured I’d like to test them out before I stock up. Let me know what you think about this new silencer from Dead Air. To me it seems like a great, rugged, can.
No it is far quieter than the Sandman!!
Packaging is really nice. I love the packaging on my wolverine and this is even nicer. I got enough 5.56 cans but damn I’m tempted to grab one.
I think I may need one of these as a keeper
Have not heard this can in action, but the Sandman-S is fantastic on gas impingement 556 and 308. The same goes for the Omega-300 can.
I love the Sandman-S. I judge most other cans by that standard. Even cans of other calibers.
The sandman is pretty bad on 556. Like it’s not even close. If you want a benchmark look at some of the offerings from cgs group, kg made or surefire rc2 (not using warcomp)
Do a side by side comparison of the sandman s vs this cans baffles. I want to know if this is significantly overbored for the caliber.
The answer is No. DA has explicitly stated “this is not just another sandman” the stellite baffles are bored for 556. This is not a sandman nor an sb2, it’s a hard use, shorty, 556 dedicated can with an included flash hider endcap & omega threads for mount compatibility. This will be my next can hands down, DA absolutely nailed it!
@@FullyKitted That's great, still want to see the baffles. Another company recently pulled that stunt, so now I'm suspicious of any company's new "556" can.
@@richardbonner1674 Yeah rugged really messed that up, I agree.
Nice! 👍
I wonder how this compares to the EA ARX?
Do ya still need the adapter for it ?
I have a Plan B for it. It has the Xeno otherwise.
@@coctailer would love to see a video on this can with plan b setup...weights /lengths and what not . Seems like an almost K can with no downside
