    great that you keep putting out innovative products. I really like the sheer simplicity and lack of worry over a can stuck to the muzzle device (or improperly installed and launching) .

    Will there be a Xeno flash hider in 2.7' for P/W on 13.7-13.9?

    • @ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz
      @ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz ปีที่แล้ว

      So I asked Forward Control Deisgns, not Deadair but hear me out, about that because I wanted a p/w 13.9 retro mutt abomination thing with their long birdcage Xeno device.
      According to them Xeno devices are shorter to deal with shorter blast chambers in a lot of cans, and the shorter length of the Xeno mount.
      I'm sure with the right can a p/w 13.9 length device would work, but thats likely the reason no ones going to make a long Xeno baring a magical exception or a company just making it for fun.
      Personally I'm not too broken up, I'll just run a 14.5 for a smidge more velocity and a smidge less concussion, but if you're set on a 13.9 youre gonna be stuck with Keymo if you stick with deadair mounts.

    Have a can in Jail. Leaning towards the Xeno system. Already have a few KeyMo flash hiders. But like the length and weight saving of the Xeno.

  • @Mong0thepawn
    @Mong0thepawn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I am pretty happy with the Keymo system and how well it locks up. This Xeno has peaked my interest. I like how the left handed threads tighten the adapter to the can. I just bought the DA451 for the Wolfman and I imagine the Xeno adapter will be just as expensive.
    My only concern with the Keymo system is the ability to put a Sandman S on a 9 mm firearm with a Keymo micro muzzle device. I doubt that I will make this mistake but I like idiot proof designs. Maybe using the Keymo only on 30 calibers and the Xeno on the larger calibers would be a good way to idiot proof the cans.

  • @MSSynsyterGates
    @MSSynsyterGates 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have one of these and it is good. The keymo is great but the weight and length isnt the best. Xeno is great and left handed threads on the mount are so helpful for getting a hot can off without taking off your muzzle device or unthreading the can from the mount.

    • @rettcook6244
      @rettcook6244 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got my Xeno in the mail a couple of days ago, but am starting to have second thoughts. My concern is that it might back off the threads like direct thread cans. I've heard that the taper mitigates that but haven't really found anyone with experience.
      Have you noticed it back off the mount or is it pretty solid?

    • @MSSynsyterGates
      @MSSynsyterGates 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2
