Using some spoons or drifting some roe bags would have probably landed you something! The water was way down as well for power generation. It comes back up later morning.

You can see the water level is down about five feet, it should come up later in the day. In Sept the trout start running , then Salman will be plentiful. Yea it's always hit or miss.
