1:41 Sir Alex Moulton April CBE FREng Engineer and Inventer. 1920 - December 2012 Designer of suspension systems for British Leyland cars such as the Austin/Morris Mini, Austin Gipsy, Austin Maxi, Austin Allegro, Princess and Rover Metro, and later on Rover Group's MG F sports car. Inventer of the much copied Moulton small-wheeled and rubber suspension bicycle. Interesting registration number on the Austin/Morris 1100/1300 car from which Sir Alex takes the bicycle - 66 AMW - what does the 'W'stand for?? This reg. no. is no longer recognised on DVLA.
