This podcast is an absolute goldmine - I literally couldn't stop taking notes. Simon, man, if you're somehow reading this, I've got this dream, I want to change the UK home improvement/construction industry. It's my passion. If you have any advice or connections to help me kickstart my business and make a real impact I'd be forever grateful

The Dreamr platform's innovative approach to redefining education by focusing on individual needs and soft skills is truly commendable! It's inspiring to see efforts that go beyond traditional methodologies to help everyone, especially those without resources, achieve their dreams. 👏

“The best way to teach him is what he wants to learn” - love that ! Doubling down on kids strengths 🙌 But there is also the concept that I often think about - kids have to be shows the way as well and can’t just focus on what they fancy doing without having to experience the things they don’t like or are not good at. I personally believe schools are good for social skills, being in a competitive environment, leaning to stand up for yourself … for education … get some mentors / private tutoring etc.
Thanks guys - great Pod 🎙️

This was so refreshing and impactful to watch. Recently found Charlies youtube which has given me some major paradigm shifts. To be able to hear him have a proper conversation with Simon who has such a wholesome world view and all the topics that came up opened my eyes to a lot in my entrepreneurial journey.
Props to the other two gentlemen as well for giving value where they could!
We need to more of this!

These types of Loans you are talking about, we had it in Argentina for the entrepreneurs and innovative minds. It worked for some of those projects but most didn't and these Loans had a clause of "no refund" if the business broke. It could be done better for sure, but it opened the door to many people to start their own businesses with financial help and mentorship associated with it.

This is a good discussion with regarding bullying and thats where I think I lie with the reason to not take risks and start my own business as I am settled. When you're talking about bullying, it reminds me of being in school being bullied and I feel panicked and scared and I left school 15 years ago

to your point at 8:30 about luck and situation. For me, I really badly have the entrepreneurial drive, but I have a wife and a kid to take care of. We got pregnant at 20 yrs old, so I needed and stable income stream to provide. In an alternative reality i would have taken so many risks and worked 14 hr days, but I need to be there for my family and thats just not the cards im dealt currently. So now I work full time and after my kid goes to sleep I try to learn as much as I can, so that when he is old enough to take more care of himself I can build a business. But patience isnt my strongest trait lol
Anyways, great podcast! Very interesting conversation. I enjoyed to listen to it :) Greetings from Denmark

Love seeing Charlie on the podcast. A critique I'd give is I think the podcast host talks a bit too much (seems to be >50% of the time, roughly based on footage), especially if they objective is to do an interview podcast, where the reason people click is the guest. Just my $0.02
