If i remember in 92 before the second floor went up, you had the three bars in the middle Carricel at the End BJ2 before that, i think, and can't remember the first little round Bar's Name Oh, and kings gogo Baby gogo, and a hamburger shop on the corner :) My first ever girl was from Bj2 😂 Thankyou for the memory
Great video phil.i remember the gogo called the shark a gogo had a sharks mouth you had to walk through as going up the stairs.great memories 👍🏼.best regards damon
Great memories of 2004 on for me. Larry, Ben, Bruce Mangosteen, Tommy helpful, fun guys. Soi Daimond was my favorite! Shooters was fun. I was at the grand opening of Heaven Above. Carousel was fun. See you soon.
Hi Phil. Yep you got them mixed up. Superbaby was next to Carousel. Supergirl was to become Coco. They expanded into Naughty Girls gogo so I think you are right about The Sea gogo location (now Coke?). Lastly the smaller New Star Gogo on the end before the beer bar with the same name that adjoins walking street.
Walk down from lepub pass windmill and on the right side it's was the baby a go go club, sat many times with the thai boss and his wife and believe me it was one of the best gogo bars in pattaya for many years along with the happy a go go,peppermint a go go and super baby a gogo .👍
Hi Mr.Egg, I remember a place called "Hops Bar" right across from Le Pub Last March. I never went in but I remember the nice girls at Le Pub let the three or four girls that worked there come in and have some of the Birthday food That a Le Pub Birthday girl had to share. That was kind of her and the other Le Pub Girls and good Karma.!!
Thanks Phil. For someone who's frequented walking street since 2000, it was a little walk down memory lane (or soi). I used to think of Soi Diamond as the heart of Walking Street. Heaven Above and The Sea where a couple of my favorites, before the Windmill era. I had some very good times on Soi Daimond, it's a Soi I try and visit every time I return to Pattaya.
Love the video ... Phil such a great guy met you last year and you did the interview with me out of the goodness of your heart ❤️... coming back in 5 weeks and bringing the lovely missus Emma with me ... Will be coming into lepub to say hello for sure 👍👍
I never liked windmill but always went nightly to H.above,s girl and s baby, and the sea was a fav of me and my mate...i remember carousel and paris but they were not deffo hits when on a trawl...neighbouring hits were the beach, whats up and secrets as nightly jaunts.
yes phil, you met me thaiali and my thai partner in secrets,7.5 years ago on my last trip over, think you were manager at that point...after soi7 and wombat had fled...
Hi Phil, have you ever thought about doing a series like meet the Le Pub girls? You could do short interviews with the girls. That would promote the bar and also the girls. Punters that have never been there before might be interested in coming into the bar to see a certain girl they see on your channel. Win, win.
The girl who walked past you near the end must have been a bit of a looker, as you turned around to get the back view as well 😂. Very professional, not even a pause in the narrative! 👍😊
Hi Phil, the Casino bar you showed on your side of the soi reminded me of when there was a dance club opposite and up from your bar called Casino but it closed a long while ago now. One night during rainy season we couldn't get home to Soi Chayapoon as the water was knee deep so we got a room at Diamond Hotel after queuing with loads of other sodden souls for about 2 hours. Wasn't there a disco in the basement of that hotel also? All a long time ago now haha..
there was a bar on the cnr with 2nd road back in the early/early 80s ran by a kiwi than a finnish guy,it was about the only bar at the time that had hot/cold face wipes and the ladies would give great shoulder massages.
Absolutely no offense by any meaning but the 2006 World Cup was in GERMANY...not in France. Nice video. Keep up the good work. Cheers from Berlin... a German smartass🍻😅.
I spent many nights drinking in HA agogo and staying above at Galaxy Suites. Most of the time i never even ventured out of the street. Wanting to not be filmed walking arm in arm down Walking street with some girl probably saved me from a messy divorce.
Well we will see when you open your agogo what quality of girl you manage to attract. I do wish you well tho and hope you succeed in finding some that are worth barfining
Hey, always wanted to visit soi diamond, but wanted to ask which venues don’t allow indians. Nothing against those venues, just want to ensure that I don’t enter enter a wrong place. Thanks, thoroughly enjoyed the info.
Caution ⚠️ save your time and money. nothing special about those clubs you pay more for nothing, that's the reason they don't have regular customers coming back again and again.
Love the cleaning lady cameo!
She’s a gem
That was nice
Thanks Charles

I was along a few years later and I remember the hamburger shop. Was it danish?
Great video, you're a natural presenter.
I appreciate that!
My partner and I are visiting in 2 weeks. Looking forward to checking out the soi. Nice of you to promote the entire area and not just your own pub :)
Have fun!
Another very interesting vlog from you the famous Mr.Egg.
Thank you kindly
excellent work Phil, I remember the Windmill round the back of piccadilly circus, london, worked near there in 1966.
They never clothed was their motto.
Derived from the famous french Moulin Rouge maybe.
Great video phil.i remember the gogo called the shark a gogo had a sharks mouth you had to walk through as going up the stairs.great memories 👍🏼.best regards damon
Yep. It used to be up on the second floor.
Great video Phil never knew about all the other establishments along your Soi. You'll make a terrific travel guide some day 😆
Thank you.
Thanx on another great vid my good sir! Its always interesting to learn more about the area.
Glad you enjoyed it
That V-max!
Nice seeing you sir.
Hi Phil, back in 90/91 the Carousel was always packed.
I'm sure The Windmill Agogo was opposite The Carousel.
Nope. Windmill only one location.

Not really, but I’ve seen this Soi change a lot.
I'll be back end of Feb, not been since 2019! I'll come check out your bar and the others! I've only been in Windmill last time...
Ok Jason. Hope to see you soon.
Good day ! Thank you
Cheers.

Yes. Hips is now closed. I tried to promote Hops as best I could. It’s regular for bars to share food for birthdays and parties etc. Face face face

It’s funny, but before I had a bar there, I never really used to go to Walking St much
Thanks for the tour I hung out at the carousel thirty plus years ago. Glad to see it's still in good shape.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Phil I can remember there was only 4 bars down the middle of soi Diamond. Chiquitas, suzi wongs, old Susan's and carousel great days mate
Don’t forget “Heaven’s Above”.
Chiquitas. I remember.
@@JeddieT That wasn't there 40 years ago
The carousel bar was foundet 1980 by Rolf Moehl and Rudi Hitz, both from Switzerland
Thanks for that. I didn’t know.
Works like clockwork

Girls really have nothing to say. Not being bast but I’ve tried that before and they don’t want to talk.

It’s the same Casino club, just moved location. And yes, there was a basement nightclub in Diamond Beach.
I've always been a big fan of the early morning beers wish there were more early morning beer bars
As long as I have early-morning customers in them and not late night people that haven’t gone home yet
@@LePubPattaya mutually agreed there

I’ve seen some old photos of that.
I remember there was a mechanical raging bull ride next to the carousel bar and one of the bargirls broke her teeth riding it.
Somebody else told me that, but I didn’t remember it myself
I much prefer the small alley. They can have walking st.
Yes. It might not be so small soon.
Is Hops Bar still open directly across from yourself ? Seemed odd you didn't mention it if it was...Had some good late drinks there last year.
No.
cheers
Thanks.
also up the walking street end on the cnr,was a mexican restaurant upstairs that was about 1996/97
I don’t remember that, but I don’t eat Mexican so it wouldn’t have registered with me. Thanks for the information
My friend can you answer are quick question for me in soi diamond is there are new kangaroo bar?
It’s called Aussie bar
It was 2010 world cup when they stopped the Super Sports channels from being broadcast in Thailand
I’m not sure, I was at the World Cup
@@LePubPattaya I was living in Thailand. I remember being annoyed at the sudden disappearance of English commentary.
Shout out to “Hans” at Amigo! Very personal and professional care.
We agree!
I read only one of the two bars at Carousel bar revolve now ? Anyway i hope to be there next week to find out .
That’s true. I think I there is an engineering problem, ie the motors can’t take too much weight

i hope noone gets to swiss house ans thinks it's a shit down le pub with that great big sign dumped in the window!
but what's behind the name diamond?
Good point. I’ll move it.
Eddie was the American owner partner of Heaven above
Eddie. Yes. He looked after the hotel. How is he?

@LePubPattaya Thx for reminding me that the French fukkers won🙈🤣.
Will visit your place (and one or the other place in Soi Diamond) in November👍.
Why did they pick the name "Coke" for the AGoGo?
Maybe Pepsi was already taken.

That’s why I try not to film at night.
Have you ever thought of doing a consult business for bar owners?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
No. I’m happy just running my little bar. I have no ambitions.
'ping pong balls' .... I thought she said KING KONG ballz ¿ Blimey - - - there is such a fine line between clever & stupid
Coco club was the old superbaby a gogo and coco and coke are the same group with Chinese owners

Why did they pick the name "Coke"?
Is Sangsome Coke all they sell or something?
What happened to Imagine & What's Up ?
It’s on Soi 15. Both closed since before Covid.
Thanks mate.
Phil with the lack of quality girls around do you think the soi diamond agogos will ever make a comeback?

Caution ⚠️ save your time and money. nothing special about those clubs you pay more for nothing, that's the reason they don't have regular customers coming back again and again.
They are a tourist attraction show. The one at the end of the Soi closed down last month. Not sure who got to keep the goldfish.
