I saw on TV where Richards idea was and then how it was surrounding his TV show theme and persona. And if the bar and grille management wants the restaurant and all of its licensee rights are? Pay Richard what the restaurant is worth. And STFU about everything.

Gas Monkey Garage is only about two miles from my home. I did not care for Richard then and still today. Sue is a sweetheart and he even did her dirty. I see why Arron quit the garage.. He was the brains of the operation and brought the cash only into Richard.
Aaron's mistakes were Aaron's problems. In one of my businesses, my store manager was so intrinsically involved in its success that when I realised I may lose him to a competitor I offered him 5% of the business with an option to buy a further 15%. No doubt he took the offer, and today that store is my most profitable with the least amount of oversight by me. It was proved that after Aaron left the show, it continued to succeed while he tried and failed to make a show of his own. I've visited GMG several years ago but found it boring as hell. Thank god for Six Flags

I helped remodel the bar. I know these people. Way more to the Story. Also Richard just bought a go cart track In Lewisville for a new theme park bar. Lewisville needs it. I love all these people. Wish both parties the best. Russel is a super cool guy. I worked with him remodeling the bar. 8:55

I met him before he got famous. Seemed like a cool guy but then again I was a potential customer at the time. Fame can really screw people up regardless.
I honestly felt the same way until I listened to him on Joe Rogan Totally changed my mind on him. I thought he was hilarious and seemed like a fun person to be around. He did kind of explain how scripted everything was on the show and how much input the producers had. Hard to base an opinion on someone from a TV show.

@amcalca1 A person who runs a business shouldn't have to physically sweat unless they are single operators doing manual labour. I own several successful businesses, and I have sweated but not from busting my ass. It was from not being able to sleep, thinking, 'how am I going to pay my workers, mortgage, bills', etc. There are times I'd rather be swinging a shovel than having to worry about me, my family, and employees who rely on me for the same reasons. Only simpletons think managers should sweat like them when they don't sweat like managers

No he took the test and passed it but never worked one day. That's when he and Aaron took off for California to work an episode of Overhaulin, Foose wanted to keep Aaron but he didn't want Richard at all and Aaron choose not to stay because Richard was his ride back to Texas.
Think you had his fingers in two many pie's, think he took much on, should have concentrated on one brand/ project and excelled. I don't don't blame the guy for trying, he is partly a victim of circumstance and mis fortune I think. Gas monkey was a winner.

He did just to shutdown Street Outlaw's and Memphis Street Outlaw's. But Pilgrim Studio's found a loophole to screw Richard to paying $$$$$$$$$$ nearly draining his bank account. He is not married. The lady u seen on the show with the kid is now Ex wife and that is not Richards son. But Richard did have to pay his collage.

My profession is restoring cars and '70s Japanese 4-cylinder bikes. NO ONE can rebuild, paint and re-upholster a vehicle in a week.
Try and get your car back from a painter on time. Never happen.

I have waited for weeks, for a single part, to complete a customer's vehicle.
Anyone that isn't insulted by these shows, is the reason they make them.
that's not true at all, if you use reputable people you can easily get a car done in a week if you schedule it right. You also have to remember that he has own paint and body shop too.
