God bless. Wonderful video. I was badly mis-sold on our house and garden. But I have turned the negative into a powerful positive. Japanese Knotweed is a plant I put in my daily Smoothie and it keeps me pet allergy free. I am now living with a dog for the first time without wheezing and sneezing. Drug free. I also love Plantain herb. This plant has helped my lungs, stopped pain, the list is endless. I love the plants the Academics label weeds. And I thank God for my free Medicine. ♥️🥰🦋🐝♥️
Thanks Chad! This is my 6th year with the garden, so I'm preparing for it's Sabbath rest next year. The only "weeds" I'm concerned with is the dreaded quack grass, and deadly nightshade. Two plants you don't want anywhere near your garden. They take over very quickly. What "weeds" I don't eat, or preserve, I feed to the chickens. It's great fodder for them.
How to deal with field bindweed, quack grass, rush skeleton weed? All not native to the America's. It is a constant battle. If not weeding they would replace all my natives and garden vegetables. And since all spread by underground roots, I only weaken them. To try and trace roots is not an option for me.
Up the calcium.load by applying either gypsum or lime, dependin on wjether your pH is alkaline or acidic. Bindweed is an indicator of anaerobic conditions. This.means you have little oxigen in your soil and dead organic material is fermenting, vs oxydizing.
3:24 Take that HOA!
Great info. ✝️ God supplied us with our plants known as weeds in some cases to heal and thrive. Thankyou 💚

You are welcome. Thanks for watching.
There are no weeds. All plants are dynamic accumulators. All plants are beneficial.
I would love to hear an explanation on this
Cheers mate. Although stinging nettle is my nemesis. Maybe Ill wont be so harsh on it now.

Excellent point!
I was pulling some weeds in my veggie garden and noticed they were being eaten,if I pull them all out will the buggers start eating my vegetables?
I love plantain weed. Has a nutty buttery taste. And was used for healing before modern day pharmakeia.
I see it all the time, I have not tried it yet. Do you eat it cooked or raw?
@@HealthAndHomestead I just ear it raw. Try it you'll like it.
Thanks for the video... I appreciate you😊
Well our soil must be really healthy! We have a ton of weeds. And stinging nettle is creeping in.
