I had a great time-thanks for the invitation, David! It's always a pleasure to explore the wonders of permaculture with friends. I'm looking forward to sharing insights and experiences with everyone who joins us in the course.
Would absolutely love to do Geoff’s course, he is such an amazing wealth of knowledge!!But unfortunately it will be something I can never afford 😢. So thankful that we have access to your videos Weedy because I am still learning something new every time I watch your videos. Thank you for all your hard work and for sharing your knowledge 😊
Beef bacon, eggs, and tomatoes, to a five metres swale dig...perfect energy food.. community...love hearing your knowledge Geoff..nothing better than walking around a farm, garden and just sharing knowledge, Geoff is calming and reassuring as true knowledge is...
The birds and insects were adding their own melodies to the calm music. The vibrant colors in your garden were accented by the health and love that you two gardeners emanate. Well done, Weedy, Geoff. Cheers from Oklahoma City, US
@@TheWeedyGardentime passes so fast. I remember starting seeing this video series by the pandemic and now I just know this was your first tree! I started gardening shortly in 2021 and now supply a business with it for healthy organic at affordable prices. May God bless you and guide you in all His ways, always. Much rejoice for you and hearing about these news and love my friend! I bless you
I've been watching since 2020. I even watched when you first introduced us to Geoff. I have enjoyed watching you implement what you learned. Thank you🤗💚
I couldn't stop smiling while watching this video. It was so touching to see you two reminisce throughout the garden, over how it all began and how it was all planned out inch by inch moment by moment, with the hope of a wheelbarrow, full of mangoes! How satisfying it was that you two shared the first fruits of that mango tree.
As a starting food forest caretaker, these videos are my favorite. I've learned so much from your videos and just wanted to take the time to thank you for making them and sharing your knowledge and experiences. All the health and happiness to you from the netherlands !
G’day David, Gr8 video… good to see Geoff back home and reviewing what he started. The Northern Rivers is home to many talented personalities… Geoff, Cedar Anderson and his Dad n Brother, Daley’s Nursery… Will share! Hope we push the algorithm in your favor… Cheers, Johno
God bless you many times and save you and guide you always for that message you have in your picture. (God and some letters got cut short but you could readjust the design so it fits)
Thank you Weedy! I recently learned about who Bill Mollis was..I Love this walk in the garden - Geoff’s advice on the amount of diggin to do before eating a very specific breakfast is such an insight into the way this man’s mind works… total efficiency within the food web!
This fills me with such joy and hope, seeing people who love and want to be connected to the earth. It makes me so happy. Thank you for showing and growing your vibrant food forest :)
I've had the privilege of going to both Geoff and Weedy's places. Both great minds and it was amazing to pick their brains. I'm a long way off, but I'm aspiring to have land as productive as theirs. Love your work Weedy
Thank you so much Weedy for sharing your garden & Knowledge with us. We have learnt so much that we have put into practice & always look forward to your next clip. Love your movie Down the carrot hole. Love how your weedy garden is growing. It's so inspiring. Many blessings ,& stay safe.

Another way to reduce mowing, Mr Weedy, are geese. If you get them as eggs for your chickens to lay on or order day one goslings that can imprint they will love you as much as a dog, live 15-20 years, provide eggs, and they are great lawnmowers. My previous house had about a 2000sqft front yard that I didn't mow for three years because my three geese kept it so short. They don't even need a pond, just a bucket of water to clean their nose holes with occasionally.
Hi Weedy! I’m being a follower from the weedy garden since the beginning! Your videos are great inspiration for me and I share the same love for plants as you. I used to work as a therapeutic gardener with people with learning disabilities in a camphill community in UK. I just signed for the PDC last week! I’m very excited about. Me and my husband sold everything in Scotland back in 2022 move to Spain (where my husband is from) we are looking to buy a land and since two years I want to do this course ❤ I want you to know you’re one of the TH-cam channels that feed my soul and gave me motivation to take that important step. Thanks for your beautiful videos. I wanna be part of the solution and my children can grow in a beautiful environment and can thrive and help others ❤ keep going Love from Sue
💖 Welcome Sue, we Truly Heart Fully Appreciate your warm Wonderful feedback. We are Extraordinarily Blessed to be sharing our Beautiful Life together ... online and it's LOVED 😃 Many thanks 💚 Heather (Mrs Weedy)
Ever since I met Geoff and Bill back in 2016 or 2017 (maybe earlier), I’ve been dreaming of creating my own food forest. Hopefully someday very soon I will be able to get started. I’ve been busy with life and I’ve decided it’s time to take the plunge. I love your videos, Weedy, keep up the good work.
I was also skeptical about a big prune of the canopy in summer and removing all the beautiful shade. So hard not to open the shade up in Winter as it feels like the under story is yearning for more light. Got to have faith that water management is more important. Good to hear Geoff say this again to reaffirm this point
Fantastic. Nice to see you both and this great permaculture garden. The plants sure do grow quickly given the right environment. Well done David. My Introduction to Permaculture by Bill Mollison has been with me for 30+ years and is inspirational every time I open the book.
so cool to see how your swales developed, remember finding your swale install video a few years back, it really helped us conceptualize them, keep up great work!
I just love the admiration you have for Geoff! I would be so excited to spend an arvo with him too. Your garden is looking amazing, it's my plan to one day do something like this too!
I did my permaculture design course with Geoff Lawton around 2016 or 2017 and loved it. He is my hero. I love his channel and love what he has done in the desert. Just amazing! I live in the dry tropics of North Queensland and like to test the waters growing things that might not normally grow here.....with varying success. Love you channeland graden Weedy❤
Love your channel, never missed an episode, just wish we had your wonderful Wolumbin crater soils instead of our depleted sandy granite soils, but working on it... compost and biochar!
I really like your idea of natural life and the life cycle that creates happiness throughout life. including safe food and have an ecosystem that supports each other I noticed that you are very strong and healthy. Money cannot buy good health and true happiness.
Thanks for all the great content Weedy :) You inspired me to learn about permaculture, and I first started learning about about Geoff Lawton / Bill Mollison after your video with Geoff 3 years ago. awesome stuff !
