A LOT of people use crayolas because of their ability to get better line variation than some “professional” markers. They really shine if you ditch crayolas ink and refill it with something like copic ink. They also have a wonderfully flexible and thick nib that you can still get a solid point out of.
That’s mainly because of the superior line quality you get out of them. That’s said if you work with something enough you can get solid results out of it. Problem with crayolas I’ve found is that unless the ink is swapped out for something better, the Black is too light for my tastes.
samuel H. they cool to use! brand can be illusion at times. Walmart color pencils are expensive but I'll show the best who they messing with. sometimes its the artist and the skill.
Mom, I need 200 packs of copic markers to draw something good! *Watch artist draw beautifully with regular marker. Mom, just buy me sharpie permanent marker...
Sharpies aren’t as good as Crayolas for this believe it or not. At least not unless it’s their brush pen. Crayolas actually have a really flexible and wide nib that allows for some really thick and decently thin lines.
The things that scare me about this type of art is that you draw everything in one go. I always sketch and then erase and then eventually erase the whole things. 😂😂
Let me just say that, as a fellow artist, it's amazing to me that with your upbeat and fun looking art, you're proving to all of us that our expensive art supplies are pretty much unnecessary. I was just flipping through vids like I normally do. I stayed because you were using CRAYOLA markers and I just had to see this. Nice work. Fun vid and fun art! Love it!
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I've always wanted to draw a caricature and today I drew one of Angelina Jolie and I'm happy with the results. So thank you. 😊
Thanks for breaking down the shapes dude. That's extremely helpful. Props for making a Crayola look as expressive as brushwork too. That takes practice and skill to pull off that quick. Much appreciated for the video.
Wow. I've been trying to find the right coloring medium for months now, and I think that Crayolas just might work. I love how you create amazing art with art supplies that anyone can afford

They fact that you capture someone’s likeness in such a short time is amazing!
The fact that you use basic markers is awesome. Other artists I see always recommend the Copic brand or Prisma brand when drawing faces. Cool work!
